Vumbua Africa - UK Arvostelua 1

My wife and I did a fifteen day private tour of Uganda with Vumbua Africa from the UK. It was the most incredible experience of our lives.

The itinerary was perfect- we rafted the Upper Nile, saw vast herds of game in Kidepo Valley, visited a local village, saw leopard at Murchison Falls, watched thousands of birds from a boat in Queen Elizabeth National park, trekked for chimpanzees in Kibale, encountered Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi and so so much more.

The luxury accommodation was amazing- we got to stay in some of the most unique lodges in Africa. They also organized some lovely special experiences at most places- like a completely private, multi-course breakfast in the shade of a wild fig tree, right in wilderness of Kidepo.

All our activities were organised and were with the best, safest and most experienced providers. They really know the best of the best in Uganda, and exactly what works.

For the whole trip our guide, Raymond, facilitated everything, took great care of us, gave us a fantastically in depth understanding of everything we saw, and drove us for the whole trip in a safari-converted Land Cruiser. I cannot speak highly enough of him- he was fantastic. Anything that went wrong, he had solved before we even noticed (for example an important bridge in QENP was unexpectedly closed, but before we even arrived he had arranged for a contact of his to take us over the river in a private boat. It was seamless).

This was the trip of a lifetime, we fell in love with Uganda and were very sorry to have to leave. Vumbua Africa, and everyone who made our trip possible were perfect.

I absolutely recommend and would travel again in a heartbeat!
