The manifestations can be very different. The disease is often accompanied by uncontrollable tremors, gait and movement disorders as well as speech and swallowing disorders. In addition to drug treatment, physiotherapy, ergotherapy and speech therapy play an enormous role. Your speech therapy will decide how well you can actively participate in conversations, how well you can be heard and continue to express your wants and needs, as well as how well you can eat and drink. It’s worth fighting for! Fighting means: training, training, training! Face the challenge! You are not alone! I will accompany and support you in this.

Ein Glücksfall

Bei mir wurde vor mehreren Monaten eine Erkrankung des motorischen Nervensystems (ALS) diagnostizier. Ich habe zunehmende Artikulationsprobleme. Das ist nicht heilbar. Es geht nur noch darum die Sprechfähigkeit möglichst lange zu erhalten. Durch Zufall bin ich mit Esther Grote in Kontakt gekommen bei der ich seit dem in Behandlung bin. Sie hat sehr viel Erfahrung, arbeitet mit Herz (ist eine Kümmerin), hat immer eine positive Einstellung, Charm und schafft es immer wieder auch wenn es mal kein guter Tag ist mich mitzureißen.
Für mich ist Esther Grote ein Glückfall und ich kann sie nur bestens weiter empfehlen.

Course shows amazing results

My husband has Parkinson's. I am a singing teacher, but he wouldn't work with me on diaphragm support and breathing, his voice was getting softer and softer, and he was starting to struggle with swallowing. I was really frightened as I knew that what he needed was a daily routine of vocal training. Esther's course was God send in my opinion. He goes upstairs and does the exercises for 15 mins daily. I began to hear a difference in only 2 days! My husband said I was exaggerating, but I thought there was an audible vocal difference. We are just on our way home from the hospital where he has had his second session with the NHS therapist. She was shocked at the improvement and said that last session he was speaking at 55-60 on the decibel meter and this time he didn't drop below 65. Do this course of you have problems with Parkinson's, daily! The discipline of working with Esther will bring great results.

Essential Voice Training for Parkinson’s

I have Parkinson’s and my speech was becoming difficult to understand along with facial masking meaning my expression was being lost. Within a week of doing the daily videos with Esther my voice was improving and my mum commented that my face was more expressive. The videos are easy to follow and short which means even on a day when I’m not feeling motivated I can discipline myself to complete them. They are so much better than a sheet of exercises to follow. It’s vital people with Parkinson’s work hard to keep our voices loud and clear. I highly recommend Esther’s videos and if you are having any difficulty or have questions she is always there to help.
