2nd degree burns!
I previously left good reviews but since then I believe the good staff have left. Since Imaan and Saphire have gone, I’ve had two other ladies whom I do not want to mention. One lady attached the cryo attachment under my chin without assessing if I even need it or not. I asked for it but later realised there wasn’t enough fat. Instead she attached the machine and held it right against my face extremely tight . It was crushing my jaw bone as it was extremely tight. I told her to loosen it and she stated the machine isn’t working and 10 minutes later she stopped. I still had to pay the full price for a procedure that was supposed to last 30 mins. No verbal consultation
Then I had a Second Lady who I had seen a few times since the good ones left. She gives very less reassurances, doesn’t explain procedure’s properly and leaves the room for up to 20mins at a time as soon as machines are attached. At one point I was left calling out for her and she couldn’t hear me.
She did the HIFU face treatment and kept going over the same area again and again even though I told her it was painful. I’ve had it many times before without issues but this time when I went home, the insides of my mouth were burnt and formed blisters! The machine was that strong that it passed through my skin and tissue to the gums! I was sore for days and sent images. They said it was normal even though I never experienced it before. I told them I never want this treatment again.
I also had cryo on stomach many times but this time, i bruised very badly. Which is okay as it is expected sometimes
However I realised it wasn’t bruised, it was burnt- second degree burns! See images . It’s now been 3 weeks almost and I am in a lot of pain. The professionals said it was because the barrier sheet wasn’t placed correctly and the machine has had contact with skin. Again, the lady left the room for extensive periods of time so I had no one to check it often. When I told her at the end I think it’s going to bruise as I can feel the pain, she said it won’t it’s fine. I got home and it looked crazy!
I’ve told them I am never coming back. I am far too scared now. With Imaan and Saphire I had no issues. They were very professional and knowledgeable and took a lot of care and stayed with me. I can’t go back now. I just hope the burns don’t leave scars!
I am currently seeking legal advice as I can’t go to gym as I was a usual gym goer. I can’t ever wear a crop top or bikini on holidays again as I’m sure this will leave a scar!

In response to your first statement regarding the chin freeze, I want to clarify that this was an add-on that you opted for on the day of your treatment. A consultation was conducted prior to this procedure, during which the applicator's design and its tight fit within the treatment area were explained. This is essential to ensure effective suction, preventing any gaps that could compromise the results. As noted in the consent form, side effects from this treatment may include redness, swelling, numbness, and sensitivity. The typical duration for the chin freeze is approximately 15 to 20 minutes, not 30 minutes during which the applicator maintains its tight seal.
Regarding your second point about the HIFU treatment, I acknowledge your comments about the discomfort you experienced. The protocol we follow involves treating the area using a cross-hatch method, moving horizontally and vertically to achieve optimal results. While discomfort can occur, this is outlined in the consent form and is a common aspect of aesthetic treatments, which are not to be confused with beauty treatments. From your appointment notes, I can confirm that the intensity of your treatment was adjusted to its lowest setting in line with protocol to minimise discomfort.
As for the side effects associated with the fat freeze treatment, these are detailed on our website and in the consent forms you completed beforehand. Common side effects include redness, bruising, swelling, sensitivity, and potential freeze burn. I regret that you have experienced these effects, but they are recognised outcomes of the treatment.
I apologise for any dissatisfaction you may have felt and understand your decision if you prefer not to return. However, I encourage you to consider that aesthetic treatments often come with potential side effects as part of their nature.

Great experience at Vivobody Palace St Victoria
I just did my Crylipolysis and Aqualyx injection today at the clinic in Palace street. The whole experience was great. Diana was fantastic. She explained everything to me, made me feel comfortable, answered all my queries and had the lightest of hands that I did not feel anything during the multiple injection of Aqualyx. The Cryolipolysis was painless and Diana always made sure I’m comfortable all the way. I had the best experience in Vivobody studio Palace street. Highly recommend Diana as well. :)
