DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS. They claim you can cancel an order within 24 hours, but they’ll just ignore or “not receive” your emails to do so until they ship the order, at which point you’re screwed. We emailed within a few hours of placing the order and repeatedly over the next 3 days, only to finally receive a reply after the order had shipped 4 days later - they claim they never got any of our emails, despite responding to one of them.

Vista Wine & Spirits in Santee, CA is probably a scam. It is either a scam or the worst run company on the planet. Do not order anything on line from them. I won't go into details, but my experience are exactly the same reported by others. After 2 weeks of "pretend" labeling and shipments, I told them to cancel my order and called my credit card company to cancel the payment. What a waste of time.

Do not order through this site! They don’t deliver and do not respond to email of VM.

I'm extremely disappointed. I ordered 3 bottle gift packs on November 23rd and never received it. 3 emails stating its coming before Christmas. 2 emails talking with thrm abou the fact it hasnt come yet. Now customer service is ignoring my 4 refund requests. Unacceptable to take money and not deliver. Avoid this company!

Solid products but absolutely terrible customer service. Responds to inquiries regarding orders with general info that didn’t answer question, when I pointed this out and asked agin I never received a reply. I had to wait almost a month just for my order to ship. I would not recommend this business.

I received my Sassenach whiskey gift box with one of the glasses completely smashed. I know it didn't happen in shipping because of those plastic blow up covers. It had to have happened in packing. I have called,emailed, sent pictures and have gotten no response. I requested a refund. Poor customer service

I’m giving Vista Wine & Spirits two stars because they carry a solid selection, including the Clonakilty Whiskey I was looking for, but the customer service is incredibly rigid and unhelpful.

The Issue:
After ordering a premium bottle, I realized the apartment number was missing from the shipping address. I immediately sent an email to correct the mistake before the delivery went out.

The Response:
I received an email back from Fin, who flatly stated that adding an apartment number "wasn't possible" now that the order was placed. This felt like a complete lack of effort. If the order is out for delivery, does the driver not have a cell phone? It’s a simple piece of information that could be relayed in seconds to ensure a high-end purchase doesn't end up lost or returned.

Summary: For a shop selling high-end spirits, the "computer says no" attitude over email is frustrating. Buying a premium bottle of Clonakilty should come with at least a basic attempt at customer support. I’ll be sourcing my whiskey from shops that prioritize successful delivery over easy excuses in the future.
