I am not at all good at tech stuff. I got halfway filling in the proposal form, then stuck. I rang the helpline and spoke to someone very helpful. I then completed the forms and paid the premium.
All very good.

Once you get onto the site renewing is easy and the price is competitive. You do have to review all the pages and check everything but that’s a good idea anyway. I would recommend without hesitation. The only issue I found was the two stage verification does not work I had to change password to get in. There are definitely issues with this

The website is very clear. The cost of the cover is acceptable. There was a change in the legal cover which caused the loss of one star. Overall I am happy with them and will most likely stay with them.

The way that you can experiment with various levels of cover, and see exactly how that affects the premium is really good.

My five star rating relates only to the competitive pricing and value for money that Visicover offers. Only by making a claim can the performance of an insurance company be truly evaluate. However, I was sufficiently impressed by the level of cover offered that I decided to switch insurance providers. Indeed, some of the features offered by Visicover are superior to those offered by my existing insurer. I had never heard of Visicover before and was a little sceptical initially but after some online research I realised that they are bona fide insurers, and moreover can offer very competitive prices. The only feature they could not offer is legal expenses cover which might deter some customers. I had the misfortune to make a claim 6 years ago and have some insight into how boat insurers work. I had no complaints about my insurer at the time but was heavily penalised every year at renewal time by all the other insurers I have used since. Time will tell about the real performance of Visicover, but I am sufficiently motivated to use them this year.
