Agree with all the comments below. A website that is made to look like the government one. Terrible. Tried to get a refund immediately after being ridiculously overcharged for a 7 dollar refund and the company will not do so. DO NOT USE

This site is the biggest rip off out. The Canadian authorities should prosecute them for outright fraud.

Bogus website! It just looks like the official website unless you read the terms and conditions and move to the payment page. They charge you 8-10 times more than the original fee. Beware of these frauds!!!

This is a completely dishonest website. Appears to be the Official, site, well set out website and in very small print at the bottom of a page is the extra fee. No where when you submit the payment does it have the full price. Why would anyone pay for a Canadian visa in euro at 200 times the price to a company in Madrid. They will also not refund and very matter of fact, clearly had a number of complaints as their response appears to be a cut and past. Never received a visa, Do not use Visa to Canada etatocanada.com

Fraudulent. I brought a visa through this company and it was clearly a scam. When you went through to payment it made it appear as if you were paying the correct amount for the visa. When a vastly different amount appeared on my bank statement I contacted Brendan at the company (completely dishonest, what a horrible job to be doing) and asked to see the payment page. Sure enough it only tells you what you might actually pay in small script at the bottom of the page. The website is made to look as authentic as possible and the owners are fully aware of this. I am surprised it is legal at all. It also took about ten emails to get them to provide an invoice, which is a legal requirement in the UK and they did not automatically send me a receipt.

Completely dishonest and in my eyes fraud.

You are filling in the same form as you would from the official canadian embassy web site and all this website is doing is probably copying and pasting onto the official website.

I got sucked into this when I googles eta Canada and this came up first. I was in autopilot and did not realize.

The cost is displayed right at the end and you can hardly read it.

Google is also partly to blame for this.

These companies should not exist. They make money out of lack of transparency.

Eta visas Canada is only able to exist due to the demands that UK citizens need an electronic visa to transfer flights in Canada. It states the charge is 7 CAD, but does not at any time to confirm its own costs which convert to around £60, no receipt is emailed, only after the transaction goes through the bank that you find out the true cost.

A truly unethical, deceptive business making arbitrary money out of people’s genuine concern to ensure they meet the visa requirements in Canada.

Looks legit but it isn't. After beating cancer two years ago I finally felt ready to go on a big trip alone and decided to visit a friend in Canada. Applied for the ETA on this site and have been charged £58 instead of $7?! The bank can't refund it however I have contacted the company as I should be protected by online and distance selling regulations which cover you for a refund within 14 days without reason, I will be taking this further with the appropriate regulatory bodies if they refuse. I checked on the real site and my ETA has been granted so at least I have something - all be it after being scammed out of an additional £50+ which should be going on this important trip :( don't feel stupid if you get scammed by these people, I am qualified and work in websites and marketing and I got caught out. The site is misleading, does not follow e-commerce best practice and when you try to find contact details it tries to tell you that you have agreed to revoke your rights (that's not how it works).

Read the small print, mentions that rather than $7 charge the total cost it $68! Plus they took £59.50 from my account meaning they don’t even use an exchange rate.

They couldn’t refund because the application was approved.

You can tell once looking for a contact number / email address that they knows it’s wrong because you cannot find these details anywhere on the site!

Canada eTA Visa, is a site dedicated to take advantage of people! they make customers seeking a Canadian eta pay enormous amount for doing nothing!! the process on the government page is exactly the same and even faster that this unscrupulous web site. be aware government page charge 5 pounds while Canada ETA | Canada Visa charge 77 pounds.

Scammers. Not illegal - they are allowed to charge for doing work - they just don't do any work.
You SHOULD be paying $7, and you should visit here (take the spaces out to make it work):

The clue is that they won't tell you how much they charge until you have wasted ages filling the form in.

The electronic visa costs 7 CAD, the only site where to request it is the official one. All other sites are ILLEGAL!

This site is operating illegally.

Our client paid them £50 to process a visa for her. They then lied, saying she was not eligible for the visa (even with a British Citizen passport).

This information came very last minute and caused her to miss her flight.

People travelling to Canada, please go to the official border control website for Canada and do the application there.
