VIPRE Security Arvostelua 

After many years, I still use Vipre. I run old Windows. I cannot say if it works or not, but it has not crashed or caused problems. I was irritated by having to download definitions manually earlier in 2026 for the first time. Worse still, I only got through to Support by finding an old Vipre support email in my file. The automated support material and forms on their website provided no response. Using the old email address, I received fast service and help doing the updates. (Which required file management skills.) A very important reason I support and recommend them is that their renewal form offers the option of NO automatic renewal, NO pre-authorized payments. I wish all companies were this principled. But I still cannot give them too high a rating if they no longer provide info on how to reach the zendesk support. Guys, for more stars, fix this.

Fed up with definitions not updating. Tried to contact support but the form won't submit, just keeps reloading form. I've tried all their suggestions to fix the problem, nothing works

I have a new device and cant load Vipre on to it

I have been sending emails to customer service since early February and have had no response. I included my customer number but nothing. I called and was told I would would receive a call back. This was over 2 months ago and still no phone call

If this does not get resolved quickly, I will have to try the Trading Standards Office

Great antivirus! Used it for 20 years but the company they use for collecting payments has a bad history with Capital One to the point Capital One refuses them for payment.

Why? I couldn't boot computer after download. I had to start again with new Windows in the end. Never encountered worse software then this, never encountered software that does something like this. NEVER. Awful and disgusting crap, caused me so much trouble.

My lifetime account got disabled and was unable to open site. They sent me instructions which had was to remove and reinstall. Now computer won’t work and unable to troubleshoot. Of course on hold for 40 minutes trying to resolve. Who has time to hold that long. Poor customer service after they got your business.

I have been with Vipre Security since 2017 and have always beem happy with them...until now. My android needed a new "code" so I called, like I have many times in the past, and they normally send me a code immediately. This time - I get an email from "Sue" letting me know that they are "looking into my request for a new code" and it could take 24 or more hours. So then next day (2 days now without protection for my phone) I get another email from "Sue" asking for name, email, etc. I send it. Then I get another email the next day from "Sue" requesting the same thing. And then again, today, the 4th day my phone has had no protection, guess who emails with the same request from the previous 3 days???? YOU GOT IT!!! SUE!!! So we need to ask ourselves at this point...if a company protecting your computer and phone can't even get you a code to continue your protection, then how likely do you think they are in actually protecting anything????

that I had purchased on my Master Card
for $19.99 ANUALLY! just within this last month!
My files are infected by virus'
I want my files back an the VIPRE virus
protection and NO hacked files. Get my files back and my VIPRE virus protection back for ONE Year as paid for!

purchased the software online, installed but wouldn't let me log into my previous Vipre account, wouldn't let me do the forgot password deal. and support doesn't have a clue, thank god for Cleverbridge, it is now simple to get a refund thru them. and Vipre has no say.I would like to try the product again sometime, but not sure if it would work.

I have run Vipre for several years with hardly an issue. In the past Vipre support was quick to respond. HOWEVER, I have tried for the past 27 DAYS to call Vipre support. There is never an answer. I have been on hold for over an hour each time before the call disconnects. I have sent emails submitted support requests and STILL 27 days later the product is not functional.

Finally got through to Vipre Support and was told there is an ongoing issue that the dev team is working on. And was told a resolution would be HOPEFULLY available in a month. I have already got unprotected for the past 27 days, I CANNOT wait another month for HOPEFULLY.

I will be cancelling my Vipre description and finding another solution. Too bad Vipre was at ontime a fantastic product with excellect support. THIS IS NOT THE CASE ANYMORE.

UPDATE:
I am less of an unhappy camper ... it appears all one has to do is write an honest yet unfavourable review to get their attention. I was contacted on my way home from work mere hours after writing this review. However I was driving and couldn't talk. Nice fellow, said he would have someone call me in an hour. Perfect. But after a month of trying to get in touch with support, I held little faith in getting a call back. Sure enough, hour later no call back. 3 hours later... I received a call. They called to verify my email address to which I was sent an installer for an updated version of the VPN. Uninstalled the old installed the new. Clickity Click it did the trick!

Still very disenchanted with the length of time it took to get support. A month of calling support nearly every day.

I will say ONCE I was finally contacted a resolution was supplied very speedily. So points for that. Just too bad it took an unfavourable review to get the attention of Vipre.

They don't have anything to update your virus protection for a lifetime membership I purchased from HSN there is not links it just tells me that I cannot update I was assured that when I last talked to them they said that i did'nt need to update online but my lifetime would automately update waited for 3 hours this afternoon and waiting now for 2.5 hours they need to do better thier customer service is terriable I am so frustraited with them I will keep posting till they correct this problem

I've been with viper security for many years and have had no problems. Approx the last 2 yrs viper antivirus security (uninstalled) has stopped working and then I would call viper tech support and would always get help resolving the problem until most recently. Uninstalled again (by the way I have lifetime support.) All of sudden no one answers the tech support line anymore. I've attempted contact for over a week. Today I took my dog for a walk and left my phone on for the entire walk 1 1/2 hrs. When I got home still on hold. I called several different numbers for vipre and not one single time was I able to make contact just a constant loop of numbers to press with absolutely no results. Are they in financial difficulty and going out of business? Why is there no response when I continually call technical support?

Zweifelhaftes Geschäftsverhalten. Habe zu Beginn von Vipre (2013) eine Lifetime-Lizenz erworben. Doch plötzlich war sie nicht mehr gültig. Mit Kulanz wurde die Lizenz bis 01.08.2022 noch verlängert, seitdem ungültig. Begründung. Die Software-Struktur hat sich geändert und deshalb gilt die Lifetime-Lizenz nicht mehr. M.E. ist das Betrug!

Update...Die Antwort des Vipre-Support auf meine Rezension, ich sollte mich mit Angabe der Lizenz-Nummer bei Ihnen melden zwecks Klärung, war letztendlich nur ein Fake. Damit wollte der Support bei den Lesern den Eindruck vermitteln, man würde sich ernsthaft und hilfsbereit um die Sache kümmern. In Wirklichkeit hat sich der Support trotz Erinnernsschreiben meinerseits nicht gemeldet. Es war nur ein 'vorgetäuschtes' Interesse. Wer sich so 'scheinheilig' verhält, bei dem sollte man die Qualität der Produkte auch hinterfragen.

Det er tæt på noget af det mest tåbelige jeg har været ude for. Virksomheden har valgt det, men i guder hvor er det spild af tid for medarbejderne.

Nogen gange tager der 40 sekunder andre gange 10 min. og det er gentagelse på gentagelse.
Jeg sætter det til at køre, skruer helt ned for lyden, og interagere når behovet er der.

Så kort sagt fordummende, og bibringer ingen viden!

When Vipre disappeared off my computer it was very difficult to get to any help. They are hard to reach.
I spent multiple hours trying to get help and download.
Tonight Vipre is back on and I am happy again. I have been with Vipre for several years and will continue on with their service. It was slow to get help but did finally get my service back. They are considered the best in the business for keeping computers free of virus and corruption.

The support from Vipre is excellent. When you buy a product or service as long as it does it's job you're happy, but when you need a little additional help, that's when the quality of the company comes through, or in some cases not. Fortunately the support from George K. was excellent. Recommended

I like viper it is small install not like avast Norton bitdefender gdata all above 700 mb install avast is king above 1.6 go that is not protecting just you but your state only viper problem they need there blogs and social accounts current with news and updates it’s 2022 last post from them 2021 makes the user wonder if still in business

Jeg syntes det er et godt produkt de har og har været glad for det i 4-5 år.
Desværre må jeg så tilføje at deres kundeservice / support, er virkelig ringe, man kan ringe og skrive i en uendelighed. De siger hver gang at de ser på det og sender sagen videre osv, MEN der sker INTET !!
