Newborn baby photoshoot
We won a bump2baby photoshoot and we were able to get it done a couple days ago. Callum and Izzy were our photographers and they were absolutely amazing, we had fun doing the shoot and seeing our precious little one in all the adorable poses and positions. We came in today and Ricky and Jordan sat down with us and looked at our movie with us and we’ve fallen even more in love with our daughter from the amazing photos and we even look good in our family photos too! Thank you all so much for your time and effort and being so kind it’s been a lovely experience and we’d come to see you guys again, we can’t wait to get our photos back and get them put up in our home now!

They contacted me themselves for the newborn photoshoot then asked for 25£ we attended the photoshoot then the cheapest bundle they offered started from 900£ n on top of that they did not refunded my REFUNDABLE 25£ n later came to know that its a norm they don't refund it.. .n same I have not got my 25£ n a free photo that came with a voucher ... firstly they were happy n later when they knew we are not buying their behaviour changed

Amazing staff, amazing experience
I signed up to the baby club and received a free photoshoot experience with a free mini frame. The photoshoot was with Katie who is a baby whisperer! She was brilliant with our son and got the most beautiful shots, we came back a few days later for a family viewing with Cody who took us through the photos that Katie edited and put together into a movie and then took his time and went through the pictures so we could pick out our favourites.
I would have given 5 stars however it was just too expensive for us, in saying that they do offer payment plans for their specialist wall art and digital photos. They’re also breast feeding friendly and have baby changing facilities!
Staff: amazing staff, so accommodating, so kind, very knowledgeable and friendly. They also offer beverages upon arrival.
Location: inside of big Tesco in beeston.
Parking: Tesco, 3 hours however they will validate with your number plate if you go over.

A great, professional experience - just be prepared for the upsell!
My wife and I won a free pet photoshoot through social media and while we ended up spending a fair amount on the final product, we couldn't be happier with the results!
Everyone at the studio was really friendly, welcoming and professional and made sure the whole process was smooth and enjoyable for us and our dog Dylan, namely our photographer Jordan and Coby who did our viewing.
There's definitely an element of upselling from the voucher to final product but it wasn't overly pushy and the end cost, while not cheap, is worth the studio's time and quality in our opinion.

Good structure
Was so anxious about them being pushy for sales after some reviews but not like that at all . Communcating product sales is understandable and everything took us into consideration. Our personal requirement and expectations from the experience were tailored too. The whole stucture of the photoshoot and everything before/after it is very clear and easy. Nice time to remember and a lovely photo to represent the memory of us and baby♡♡♡ Recommend!!! Prices take one star off but thats for the overall company decision makers to reconsider....

I remarkably’won’ a competition on SM for a photo shoot, fancy that! Although I knew this bit was a total con, I wasn’t bothered as I had a reason for the shoot anyway, I knew they were going to sit me down afterwards and sell me the photos. All fine by me.
In the got a lot of missed calls to book me in and told there would be a follow up call from the photographer. I had to pay a £25 deposit.
When she called I advised that the date the shoot was booked for might clash with something else.and was told not to worry just let us know an we can move the date.
When I checked the star and it did clash I called to rearrange, I was told by the photographer that it’s too late and I need to pay another £25 deposit.
When the company policy was explained to me, the day I had the call with the photographer was the last opportunity I had to change the date, this wasn’t picked up on by the photographer given I’d explained my situation.
So I’m £25 down for winning a competition.
Beware, it’s click bait, high pressure sales con job with zero customer care.

You can reschedule within 5 days' notice, and it will not affect your deposit. We've highlighted that a newer team member discussed this with you, which explains the miscommunication of the policy and your deposit has been refunded and additional training has been provided.

We had 2 shoots done with Jordon and on both he was friendly, comforting and very helpful, full of great ideas and also helped incorporate some of our own! Nothing was too much effort and he even helped with settling the baby!

We brought 5 children for a photoshoot and Callum was fantastic with them, despite the strops and tears from the 2 toddlers. We planned to buy 1 photo for their grandparents birthday and ended upgrading and buying the full collection! Bump to Bubba shoot

Scam of a company ‘WINNER’
I “won” a competition with Venture for my cat to have a photo taken. Shortly after, I was bombarded with phone calls asking me to pay a deposit, which I was clearly told was fully refundable.
After speaking with friends and family, they warned me that everyone seems to “win” these competitions and that they’re not actually free — you’re pressured into buying very expensive photo packages. Because of this, I decided to cancel the whole thing and requested a refund.
Within the 48-hours before the appointment would be taking place I explained that I wanted to cancel as the experience wasn’t truly free. The representative admitted that yes, it isn’t free, said they understood, and told me a refund would be requested and processed within a certain number of working days.
However, after checking the terms and conditions myself, I discovered that no refund is given unless you complete the photo shoot, which directly contradicts what I was told on the phone.
This feels extremely misleading. They must make a lot of money from people falling into this trap, and it’s honestly shameful. Transparency is seriously lacking, and I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

We want to clarify that not everyone wins a photoshoot. Our studios run monthly competitions and giveaways where a small number of people are chosen to receive a prize. All of our photography experiences and photoshoots are available to book and purchase directly through our website.
Regarding deposits, our terms and conditions state: “At the time of booking your photoshoot, you will be asked to pay a £25 deposit to secure your appointment, which will be either used against any frames or images purchased, or refunded to the original payment method at the end of your Venture experience." You don’t need to attend the shoot to get your deposit back, we just ask that you give the studio at least five days notice so the team can accommodate other clients.
We understand the process may have been confusing, and we’re sorry that it caused frustration. We do always strive to be as upfront as possible about what is included and how our policies work.

I attended Venture Photography Studios in Nottingham with my daughter and son in law for a newborn photoshoot of my grandson. The shoot was a gift from his great grandma, who had purchased a newborn photoshoot, a one year photoshoot, plus an additional £50 voucher for extra photos.
The photographers themselves were pleasant and took some genuinely lovely photos. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended.
When it came to viewing the photos, we were stunned by the pricing. The cheapest option was £95 for a single photo, with packages escalating to well over £2000 for all digital images. This felt completely disproportionate and left us feeling disgusted. My grandson’s great grandma was very upset, having spent a significant amount of money on the gift believing it would result in meaningful, affordable keepsakes.
To make matters worse, when we selected the two photos we were willing to have, we were then told they could only be printed in 5x5, not 7x5 as originally implied. Despite being smaller, the price remained exactly the same. No reduction, no explanation, just another example of the pricing feeling arbitrary and exploitative.
We were also told we had to return for a viewing appointment or be charged an extra £25, which felt unnecessary and pressurising. When we returned, we made it clear from the outset that we only wanted the free photo included in the package. Despite this, we were subjected to an aggressive hard sell. We said no repeatedly, yet were continually offered so called discounts, bundles, and payment plans.
In the end, we felt forced into buying an additional photo at £95 purely so the £50 voucher was not completely wasted. Even then, when one staff member left the room, another whispered to my daughter about interest free payments for six months in a final attempt to push a larger package. It was uncomfortable and inappropriate.
The overall attitude felt robotic and falsely friendly, with sales clearly prioritised over people. I dread to think how overwhelming this process must be for those who are less confident or assertive.
We will not be returning for the one year photoshoot and will be using a local photographer instead. I would strongly advise anyone considering Venture to fully understand the pricing structure and sales tactics before booking, as the experience was far more about extracting money than creating memories.

I’m pleased to hear you had a good time with your photographer and enjoyed the images themselves.
As you mentioned, our price range is from £95 to £2000 as we specialise in bespoke hand made wallart. We do aim to cater for all budgets and offer a wide range of styles and bundles to find something for everyone. These price ranges and styles are available on our website and provided to you with our product guide and current special offers. However all our experience vouchers do come with an included piece so nobody walks away with nothing. We never want to pressure anyone in to purchasing any images or products if they don’t want to. The £50 off voucher included covers wall art only, we did actually provide this to you off an additional desktop as gesture of goodwill. The 2 square images that you choose are designed and shot that way so the square 5x5 is under the same price bracket as the 7x5 included. So there isn’t any price reduction for the 2 inches I’m afraid, but I’ll pass this on our production team nonetheless.
It was myself who sat in with you during your viewing and our aim was to provide you with all our options (including the popular option of spreading the cost monthly) so you had as much information to make an educated choice if you did want to purchase anything. We provide a hour viewing experience too for this but as you made us aware you only allowed for 30 mins as you had to leave early. Sorry to hear you felt this was rushed or pressuring you, and I’ll pass this on to your viewer.
The £25 charge you mentioned, is in line with our cancellation policy and was mentioned on the booking call and after your photoshoot itself. This covers the several hours editing time it takes to build your show and honours a slot on our live diary. As you attended your booking no charge was taken.
Sorry to hear you don’t want to visit us again in the future. I’d like to thank you again, Danielle for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, it’s appreciated and allows us to grow and make sure we can always offer exception service and products to everyone.

We received our complimentary photoshoot through Emma’s diary. Me and my partner went with our 6 week old little boy and honestly it was an amazing experience, Jordan and Izzy were so patient and caring! I can not thank them enough! The photographs and moments they were able to capture are truly amazing! We then went back for our viewing and was greeted by Ricky and Coby, they worked hard to create the set up of images we wanted for our home. I would 100% recommend venture studios!

Ours was a photo of our two dogs that we had been gifted for Christmas and it was great fun, our photographer Jordan really put us at ease and we will not mention the silly noises he made to get the dogs attention LOL but it really worked and they loved him especially Dolly. The pictures were amazing and the movie brought a tear to my eye but I am a softie with my fur babies. AMAZING
Me, my partner and my son won a free photoshoot through Smyths and honestly? We couldn’t be more impressed. The photographer (Kelly) the photo quality, the price for the images (which may seem expensive to some but is well worth the price). We came back to the studio exactly a week from our shoot (also amazing) the photos are incredible! We couldn’t have asked for more. The guys who showed us our photos (Coby and Ricky) you were so nice and polite. We had an amazing experience with EVERYONE and we want to thank you for capturing the love shared in our family
