At my first consultation every thing was explained really clearly. Every question was answered in a very professional but friendly way. And there was no pressure to go ahead.

Amazing team of professionals throughout my treatment.

I had unsightly varicose veins on both legs for many years. I was unable to wear shorts and restricted to trousers which was not ideal. Although not uncomfortable, they hampered recovery of a healed ulcer on my ankle.which This had flared up over a number of years with a risk of an infection flaring up anytime without dealing with the underlying root of the problem.

From an initial consultation in Glasgow last September to being offered the procedure within a very short period of time over the last couple of months. Clear and easy understanding and the chance to ask questions at any point just a phone call away.

Whilst I’ve never been a fan of needles for the treatment , the staff put me at ease each time.

I had initial treatment on both legs and the compression for the week, then follow-up treatment a short time afterwards. Whilst it’s been a slow recovery, each days an improvement. Come the summer will have the confidence to dig the shorts out of the cupboard.

A special mention to Dr Navin Mathias and his team both at Glasgow & Edinburgh clinics, true professionals. I would not hesitate to recommend The Vein Centre for any treatment needed. My only regret is no getting the procedure done sooner

Dr was more professional and treated me with respect unlike my previous visit for laser treatment.
I was able to get into the clinic straightaway unlike last time when the receptionist left me outside for nearly 10 minutes: I needed the bathroom after a 90 minute journey. When the foam is being massaged into your leg I found it quite painful. Non plussed to find it will be 2/3 months to know if it has worked.

Consultant told me my physical status & what he can do to help my situation. Cost is a bit expensive though but hopefully it will be worth it

Vein Centre Chester has a very professional yet also friendly way of working. Treatment advised is explained very well and dates of my choice were readily available. I found the procedure itself not painful, but recovery was slow and the bruising & pain then was quite bad. I’m 90% pleased with the results. I have a few small issues that may clear on their own, if not I’d be happy to use this company for further treatment. I’m now happy to wear shorts and swimsuits on holiday. Yeah !

Welcoming and gave detailed information. Good atmosphere in which to relax. Outcome of treatment was very good.Wish there had been a centre in this area years ago so I would not have had to hide my legs for years. Now feel confident about being in swimwear and shorts

The care from Jo and Mr Nair at Willerby Vein Centre was excellent from start to finish. Cosmetic improvement of 90%, heaviness and leg ache completely resolved. Circulation much better, as evidenced by a dramatic 3 minute improvement in my 5km parkrun time! My only slight disappointment is the small hard lump in one vein that still remains after 2 treatments.. and I can’t justify more expense! But overall very pleased to have had it done.

Just had my last visit at the vein centre this morning with no more treatment needed, I suffered for years with varicous veins in both legs, the results are amazing, I can now go on holiday and wear shorts and dresses, a big thank you to Dr Mark and Hazel for changing my life should have done it sooner Thank you

Relaxed, pleasant and reassuring

I recently underwent EVLA and foam sclerotherapy for my varicose veins.
From start to finish, Anne and Navin were great. They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which put me at ease. Their calm and reassuring approach made a huge difference. I felt confident that I was in safe hands throughout.
The procedure itself was much smoother than I expected, and the aftercare advice was clear and helpful. I’m already noticing an improvement, both physically and in my confidence.

Mr McCarty the consultant was great. He explained everything thoroughly and was kind and thoughtful. The nurse Emily, was also lovely. I was a little nervous but she talked to me throughout the whole procedure and really put me at ease. I felt that staff were very aware that it was a big decision to be choosing to have treatment. The treatment itself was performed very professionally and calmly. Pain was explained and manageable. Follow up care was clear and phone help was useful. I am very pleased that i chose Veincentre Leeds for my treatment, the experience from consultation through treatment to follow up appointments with my consultant Dr David shaw was both very informative and reassuring. I didn’t feel nervous, i was looked after extremely well by the nursing staff, and two months down the line they are feeling and looking better everyday.
