Varo’s 5% HYS is awesome! The digital platform is great too!

They need to be investigated. They close many people's account for zero reasons. People didn't do nothing wrong. And they hold their funds hostage. Varo seems to be a bank, but doesn't operate to high standard that banks operates. Their internal system doesn't work well, and need to be improved and upgraded, so they stop suspending and closing people’s accounts. They have some hard core scrutinized system, that need to be changed completely.

I've been with varo for about 5 years now no and i have no complaints. i got the credit card last year to help me build up my credit and it has been helpful. no fees the app is easy to use. i really like the varo to anyone ability it makes it easy to send money to my family who don't use varo.

A nightmare. Wasn't informed in the app until weeks after that my bank account never synced so I got my direct deposit and had no way to move it over. Then when I tried to do the send money feature to at least get some out it was down.... So my money was just trapped in my varo account. Seemed very shady to me. I never have issues like this with cashapp or venmo. Also the customer service was extremely rude to me and talked down to me.

The system they use for varo advance is chaotic and inconsistent. They will drop you from $250 to 75$ and won't give you a reason as to why. Even when you pay every single one off early and your direct deposit is higher than the margin they use. Don't waste your time with this bs bank!

I paid this lady to do my taxes and she linked my accounts and stole most of my return plus she did the year before I had no idea she was transferring so much money out of my account and there are several double payments on my trans action she hid them from. I. Othe4 linked accounts I can't believe this is happening I'm very sick and people have been stealing from me since I got home from being in a coma I had to learn how to walk talkand it took 6months my short term memory does work that well this woman told me she does taxes for. Alot of people she showed me her license and she was in college I thought I was safe but u guys never called me and told me I had duplicate transaction or that there was a lot of money being transfered out of my accounts first thing I'm doing is going to the IRS and giving them everything I got and turning in the people who I feel helped her

Horrible they don’t update your deposit information correctly and you never can speak with a live agent. They make you chat with someone that knows absolutely nothing. Horrible company
