Don't fall for this scam. I thought google was taking me to the IRS website after searching for "how to get a EIN for an estate" but instead I wound up on this look alike site. They charged $345!!!!!! for the EIN. The real IRS website does NOT CHARGE.

Thank god I got suspicious when they asked for CC info and a $249 price tag on what I knew was a free service directly through the IRS website. However, I still gave them lots of personal information including my SSN because their site is designed to look extremely similar to other government websites. I am now planning on reporting them to the FTC. Thank goodness my credit accounts were previously frozen, otherwise I would be extremely worried about identity theft. DO NOT USE THEM, and if you have, please do your part to report them so we can finally get these con artists taken off the first search option of Google!

COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT NOT NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! They will take your money, promise things they can't deliver and the Customer Service reps have no idea what they're talking about: they are reading from a script. When you question them, they can't provide any support or service.

This site is a scam. Not even sure how I got connected with them, I was trying to file an EIN, next thing I know, a week later, I'm still dealing with them via email, because you can only communicate with them via email. This business should not exist.

I ordered a EIN with same day delivery and it was not sent. Filed a chargeback with my bank. They don’t respond to customers.

I was charged over $500 and then when I tried registering my business to do e-commerce and the information did not match the government verification system. I tried doing this at least 7 times, double and triple checking all the information and I would get the same response, Rejected!. The numbers they give you are fake. How do they allow these people to continue scamming people is beyond me.

This service is completely free and instant if you do it through the IRS. In other words you instantly will receive your EIN number. I inadvertently used this company when looking for the IRS and was charged $249 without receiving any email communication. When I called their customer service for a refund of the service that they did not perform or communicate with me about, they stated that they had emailed despite there being no emails in my inbox or spam folder. They also refused to provide a refund for the service that cost them nothing to perform and for which I entered all the information. They are dishonest and must be shut down.

This is a totally scam. They are posing as IRS website. I thought this was a legitimate IRS site and filed for EIN number, and provided the credit card info. Just only after that I realized this is a fraud website and tried to call the site, nobody answers, I sent email to request cancellation with no replies.

Website say services (EIN and LLC) within 24 hours. Didn't get that. Apparently the name already existed so I provided 5 alternate names. 4 days later no response. 8 days later no response. I called their customer service and got a very nasty lady who hung up on me and terminated the call... no refund. No product. Was forced to goto my bank to delcare a fraudulent transaction. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Scam. This is a free service from the IRS. Disgusting. People grieving trying to get an EIN for an estate and the scammers are trying to rip them off. .

This company somehow comes up first when searching the IRS for an EIN number. I'm not sure how that even happens, but anywho...... Their site is in the same color scheme as the IRS, so if you are not paying very close attention, you have no idea they are a third party. They charged me $249 for something I discovered I can get for free within seconds if I was actually on the IRS website. I never got what I paid for and when I called to inquire I was literally yelled at and told that it was processing. 5 days ... no EIN? So, I requested to cancel and asked that a cancellation email be sent to me. I was told the order was cancelled, but the woman who yelled at me said she was not going to send me an email. Very rude. Very unprofessional. I have since discovered many, many complaints on this company. Please do not give them money. We disputed the charge on our credit card, so we should get the money back, but save yourself the hassel and go directly to the IRS.

EIN is free. Do not give your CC number. If you submit an application with your SSN and your personal information, report Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Also, reported major credit unions, and the IRS like I did.

They did exactly what they said they would. I applied at 0830 today and had an EIN by 09000. I had to call the support number and inquire after reading all the frightening reviews, but found the EIN and the USA-taxid.com emails were in the spam folder.

Complete scam. Charging $250 as a handling fee for something that is quite trivial and FREE when filed directly through the IRS official website. Adding more salt to the wound is that they immediately sold my information to another entity trying to scam me into paying for trademark protection services. Again... deplorable. And, while I know Google can't be perfect in their search engine results... it's disgusting to know that when searching for EIN registration that this company comes up as the top search result rather than the legitimate IRS website.

I ended up on this site and because I already knew that EIN's are free, and not 249.00 I backed out. For people who do end up using this site. I advise them to go to their bank and dispute the charge and place a fraud claim. I thought they were the IRS as well but then when the pay page came up I knew it was a scam. I tried to unsubscribe and there is not option to do so. I blocked them
