IELTS readiness diploma with Upskillist
I really enjoyed completing the IELTS Readiness Diploma with Upskillist. It was an online course, which made it flexible and easy to fit around my schedule. The course materials were available immediately, and I loved being able to choose my preferred learning style—whether watching videos or reading the content. The platform itself was very easy to navigate, which made learning smooth and stress-free.

I received a free three-month premium subscription through Adobe.com
My take:
Spammy, out of date, and not worth the trouble.
Further, the "free" three-month "premium" trial is neither free nor premium. I still need to pay for the certificates and course materials/notes.
This is a slap to the face for me. Makes it seem like my time has no value.
On top of this, there are grammatical errors and repetition.
After completing a module or course, there are numerous attempts to get a payment of some sort. As well as an annual "subscription ".
I will be contacting Adobe about this as it is concerning.

Skillist scammers
I was given a free course by vodacom which is my network provider. These scammers (skillist) told me that I will get a free course.. I then go and issue them my card details cos they say it will not be debit, here I just received a notification from my bank saying my card has declined a debit from a company which is not listed in skillet name.. paddle.net...
Avoid taking any free course or giving your details to these people, they will debit you, for no reason.
I even have screenshots
Update 04/Sep/25: after reading the reply clearly you are scammers. How are you refunding something that declined by my bank, I have a charge in the bank of R10 for international debit of $1., and how are you not (publicly) addressing the reason why your partner "paddle.net" debited me, without my consent of using my bank details, who gave them my bank details, why are you sharing my banking information with a company I never permitted.

Disappointing
I enrolled in the AI course on Upskillist, which is free for the first 2 months as a trial, but quickly found it very disappointing given the price of £60 per month plus £30 for materials afterward. The entire course seems heavily AI-generated, with generic clips and AI-generated people speaking. The tone feels mechanical and lacks any real emotion or human engagement. Basically, you end up paying good money just to watch AI videos without much substance or practical insight. Considering this, I don’t think the course is worth the cost. I expected more human-led teaching and meaningful content rather than a cold, machine-like presentation. I would not recommend this course or Upskillist for serious AI learning.
Also, many reviews and replies here seem generic, lack specific details or human authentic. It is making me thing if everything is AI-powered
