I reported hood extractor over the hob not working. It’s been there 27 years and I said it needed replacing.
Sam looked at it, changed the fuse and bulb and it’s working again.
I’d prepared myself to spend about £600. It cost £100.

Electrician was good. The problem was resolved after the second visit. Thought it had been resolved during the first visit (to be fair it was a really bizarre problem) so would recommend doing a quick test of various sockets and lights before they go.
