The process is clear.

I've used UPPER as a platform to find projects for my dev agency and also to find projects for myself. As long as the market was in the right place they almost always had nice projects we could work on.

Through UPPER I've found last two projects I've worked on (one still in progress) and both of them were amazing and long-term (more than a year)

Not much to say about the people that work there, I would just hug them and buy them a beer because they really do their work in a great manner.

I've been working with Upper for the past several years. Experience was a bit clumsy at first, but that makes sense as they were just a startup. Since then Upper platform and team changed and improved a lot. Improvements are all over the place from support and online platform.

I am really happy with they responsiveness and support in case of any problems that I faced.

I joined Upper platform back in August 2020, and I started my first project assignment as Product Owner in March 2021 for a 19-months project. The interview and onboarding processes were very smooth. The project went very well, I had a great time working 100% remotely with a great client, a great multinational team, on a very interesting & challenging project.
After the end of the project, having such great first time experience, I continued my collaboration with Upper and got assigned on shorter projects.
Looking back, I can say that I put my IT freelance career as Product Owner on autopilot, and all I had to focus on was to do a great job while delivering my projects.
All in all, I highly recommend Upper for IT freelancers looking to access great projects for international clients, without the hassle of finding them by themselves.

I've had a great experience with UPPER, from the interview and onboarding process, all the way through finding clients. I'm a Senior Backend Engineer and have managed to get a great job through Upper. Both during the interview and after being onboarded in the team, they've been very supportive and helpful. I highly recommend them !

I was contacted on LinkedIn by them on their initiative about some freelance opportunity. The guy arranged an interview during which he looked at some other screen. It was weird. Later they said I did not pass screening. There was no any screening. He just explained me what the job he is offering me is about.

I've been contacted by their recruiting personnel. They had me go through a 3 hours test just to tell me that I've passed the test but the client wants someone with more on-paper experience. They had my CV, they knew my on-paper experience and still had me go through the test without consulting with the client. Very unprofessional.

I create 3 profiles with 3 emails because I never get any solution to activate the first profile after 6 months.
I created the second thinking the first might be corrupted, the session expired before I completed the profile, no option to resume and support not replying to messages.
Empty UI with no support replying to any message.

After you filled all your data, there is nothing you can do, just an empty UI.
You cannot access your data, your settings, update your data or profile.

I will avoid this service.

they got in contact and apparently they are solving the issues. Will see if it is working.
