Ordering a UniKitOut box for my daughter for University was very easy. They liaised with her accommodation and it was waiting for her in her room when she moved in.

Great but dirt footprint
I love how everything was delivered directly to my dorm and packaged nicely. Unfortunately, on one of the pillows was a dirt print of a shoe and the duvet had some dirt on it as well. Other than that, everything was great.

Hi Emma,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
Its great to hear you were happy overall with your items and your delivery, however, its disappointing to hear the duvet kit you received was dirty. All our products are passed through quality control at the factory before being rolled and packed so I am sad this wasn't picked up.
We proudly offer a 100% money back guarantee and encourage customers to get in touch if they are unhappy with any part of their UKO experience.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch via info@unikitout.com so we can discuss this further,
Take care,
Emma
Almost Perfect
Globally it was very good, the delivery was on time, no item was missing. However, the pots and pans were not induction so I had to buy some more.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! I'm delighted to hear you had such a positive experience.
I'm sorry to hear that the pans you ordered weren’t compatible with your hob. We do our best to clearly indicate which pan sets are suitable for induction hobs in our descriptions, but I really appreciate your feedback.
If you need any further clarification, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re always happy to help!
Wishing you all the best,

I'm sorry to hear the box was delivered in a less than perfect condition. Unfortunately, minor damage to cardboard boxes can sometimes occur during transit but it sounds like everything inside survived the journey!

Hi Simon,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
While I’m delighted to hear that you’re happy with the items you purchased, I’m very sorry to learn that your experience with the courier service did not meet expectations. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when the delivery process falls short, and I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
If you have any images of the packaging or any details regarding the issue, I would be more than happy to pass them along to the courier’s customer service team for further review. Please don't hesitate to get in touch at sales@unikitout.com
Wishing you all the best,

Bad quality items
The quality of the things we got in the UniKit is really bad, especially considering how much you pay for it. The pillows are worth absolutely nothing, and give no support whatsoever.
The tea towels leave behind small particles of dust on your dishes, even after washing them a couple of times.
The duvet set barely fit the items that come with it, especially the duvet cover which is just too small for the duvet and keeps falling off.
The hook we got was useless as well and could not hold up anything, not even a towel.
The plates/cutlery/pans are okay, nothing special. However, one of the pan's coating wore away extremely quick.
When I recieved my UniKit, there were even some stains on the things I recieved (which I made pictures of, if proof is needed.)
The only reason you should get this is because of the convenience-- but I would suggest just going to the IKEA instead because the quality of the items versus the price is just not worth it.

Quality of cooking appliances are poor
Quality of cooking appliances are poor, the pots and pans rust too quickly after only a few uses. Delivery was too difficult as they have to hand the parcel in person, delivery got delayed many times even when I was already waiting for it at the designated place and time, ended up having to buy my own tools since the kit came in too late due to the delay

Hi Fatin,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I’ve tried reaching out via email on the 3rd and 5th March in the hope we can resolve this together but I haven’t received a response.
I’m sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the pans you purchased. Our kitchen kits and cooking utensils are supplied into the UKs largest student accommodations and most popular and recognised holiday resorts so it saddens me you find the quality below par.
We proudly offer a 100% money-back guarantee and encourage customers to contact us if there's anything they're not satisfied with. Any further feedback you could share would be incredibly valuable for us to ensure our products meet expectations in the future.
Regarding the delivery, I’m sure you can appreciate that DPD cannot simply leave boxes unattended, as that would risk them going missing. Unfortunately, it appears that each time they attempted delivery, no one was available at reception to accept the parcel on your behalf. It’s disappointing UniKitOut has been penalised for something beyond our control.
Please don't hesitate to reply to my emails if you wish to discuss further.
Take care,
Emma
Convenient but terrible quality for the price
The program and system is good in theory; however, there are many more things to work on. I appreciated how simple it was to order online and find suitable kits for my needs. One issue was that the quality of the items were terrible. From the sheets to the kitchenware, everything had such low quality even for the price. I was able to find cheaper prices and better quality elsewhere. My order had a missing item, but the customer service team did a good job of sending it to me later.

Convenient, but doesn't have everything you need
It's definitely worth it if you want convenience. When I arrived at my dorm, the package was already in my room. The quality of the products is not great, but they get the job done. In hindsight, though, I feel like the bedding is really the only thing I NEEDED, the kitchen and towel set I should've gotten at a store. My issue is that I was looking mostly at the pictures of the kits to see what was in there, so I was mislead, since it only says in the fineprint that you get 3 towels, not the 4 depicted, for example. The standard kitchen kit also doesn't come with anything you need for baking a simple cake, it was even missing the baking tray, so it's useful for cooking, but I still had to run to the store for the rest.

Oma-aloitteinen arvostelu
Vastaus yritykseltä UniKitOut
Hi Ida,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
I’m glad to hear that the convenience of having your package ready in your dorm was helpful. However, I’m sorry that some aspects of the kits didn’t fully meet your expectations. We strive to provide a range of essentials to suit different student needs and budgets. Having worked with over 300 student accommodations for nearly a decade, we understand that some accommodations provide more than others, which is why we offer flexible options—such as standalone bedding or kitchen kits alongside our complete kits.
In 2020, we introduced a limited-edition baking kit, and while it's no longer part of our standard range, some essentials are still available in our sale section.
We really appreciate your feedback regarding product descriptions and imagery. Accuracy and transparency is very important to us, and we’d love the opportunity to improve. If you could reach out to our customer service team at sales@unikitout.com with your order details, we’d be happy to review the contents, descriptions, and images of the items you received.
Wishing you all the best,
Emma
