I get anxious putting together new things. Hardware, software must align for ut to work. Unifydrive's device was straightforward to put together. And it has worked continuously and usefully in the months following. The extra room is essential for my video work, making children's stories in Warlpiri

UnifyDrive UT-2 Review – SSD Failures, Data Loss, and Unresponsive Support
Two brand-new SSDs failed in a UnifyDrive UT-2 under very light usage, causing data loss. Support went mostly silent and eventually suggested just removing the SSDs due to “compatibility issues”. No replacement, no refund, and no real explanation, despite multiple requests for a proper resolution.
Very disappointing for a backup device. I would strongly recommend against purchasing products from this company.

Found this devise by chance. I was looking for a mobile device for saving my photos from large CFexpress cards. This is the device, it works well!

Absolute Enttäuschung
Absolute Enttäuschung. Das Produkt ist bestenfalls in einer frühe Beta-Phase. Die Software eine Zumutung. Es ist kein Drag&Drop vom Mac aus möglich. Das Drive erkennt den Mac als iPad. Klickt man im Startfenster der Mac-App auf die drei Striche oben rechts kommt man nicht mehr auf den Startbildschirm zurück ohne die die App zu killen und neu zu starten. Es wird ein Update angezeigt, aber der Vorgang hängt sich nach dem Start auf. Das Drive muss man irgendwann einfach komplett abschalten und neu starten, sonst passiert da nichts mehr. Das Drive wird in MacOS nicht erkannt, außer als Ziel für ein Time Machine Backup. Das lässt sich aber nicht durchführen, da das Drive kurz nach der Anmeldung die Verbindung einfach selber wieder trennt.
Und das Help-Center auf der Web-Seite ist ein schlechter Scherz! Genauso wie die Tatsache, dass nur bis PCIe 3 unterstützt wird - lächerlich!
