I sometimes found it exasperating when I typed in the start date, and when I typed in the checkout date, the system then used that as the start date. \you should have separate start and checkout boxes.

Great hotel
Great hotel, great location to airport, rooms are comfortable, only downside is the floorboards, we could hear people walking up and down their room at 1am in the morning which was annoying. I guess people have no consideration for other guests.

Booking process
The company advertised breakfast included when I booked and paid for a hotel in Sheringham When I checked with the hotel it wasn’t. The hotel confirmed that they do not offer inclusive breakfast as part of their offering on hotel booking sites.
Although I questioned Hotel com they said it was a problem with the hotel. It wasn’t.
Note: this review is regarding Hotel com. Not the hotel I stayed at.

Not fit to be calling themselves a hotel
Firstly, This hotel should not be on your site. I mistakenly booked the wrong night in the first instance. I then requested a refund which the owner told me to contact Hotel.com. I rebooted for the correct night and the room was basic. The shower worked but when I adjusted the temperature and found it was too hot, I then could not turn the tap to get the temperature down. The staff were friendly enough but for the money they took from us, I was not surprised. They served up a snack for one of my fellow guests. A cheeseboard with an assorted few pieces of cheese with grapes and a dip and bread sticks. Then charged him £15. We could have got more suitable food from a takeaway. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and I certainly wont stay their again. It was dirty throughout the corridors and there were a lot of window frames in disrepair. I am still unsure why I couldn't be given a refund for the wrongly reserved room so in effect I've paid almost a hundred pounds for what can only be described as, excuse my language, a shithole
