Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Sent multiple emails and messaged their Instagram. Got one very unhelpful email reply and then no follow up, even after sending one email to who I was directed to and then another customer service email address I found on their website. It's a shame because they seem like decent enough products but if you have any issues you're left in no man's land.
This company is dishonest
This company is dishonest, I highly do not recommend.
Their site lists shoes on sale , however they do not honour what the site says and instead the head of CS says they can’t do anything . Awful customer service .
Great return service
honestly shocked they have such bad reviews... I ordered a shoe that was too small and they returned it no problem. I was able to talk to a rep on the phone which seems to be impossible these days. The service was great and I bought a new pair.
TYR website not ready for prime time!
I tried ordering nylon plated running shoes from their website only to find out that they used an old fashioned bait and switch technique when it was time to check out. The shoes were marked down to $89 but when it was time to check out the price jumped to $135. Nice try TYR! Customer service was no better. Be smart and stay away from this hot mess!

Really disappointed that such great products come with such poor and greedy customer service.
I bought a pair of shoes, and many places recommended ordering a size up. I used their camera sizing feature, which indeed suggested one size larger than what I normally wear.
When the shoes arrived, I tried them on and walked no more than 3 meters in my own home – they were clearly too big. I packed them neatly and sent them back.
After a week after there resivet them, “I tracked the return via UPS and could see they had received the package.” Yet, I heard nothing. I wrote to them a week later – no reply. Wrote again another week later – still nothing. It took over 14 days before I finally heard back.
They claimed the shoes were dirty and sent them for destruction.
Even though the shoes are fantastic, this is not how you treat a customer. Even if the shoes were somehow damaged during shipping, or I had indeed returned worn and dirty shoes, the least they could do is contact the customer instead of completely ignoring them.
I recommend finding another place to buy your workout gear.
Not true to size, large fees to return
shoes are okay, but return fees are ridiculous. I was charged shipping to get my order. The shoes run very small imo. I'm always a 12 and these fit so small I needed to return for a larger size. I was charged for shipping my return too. I also had to pay for packaging since they were originally shipped in a cheap plastic bag.
On top of not refunding my original shipping they didn't refund my sales tax in full. All said and done it probably cost me $25 in fees.

The sizing of these shoes is off - so I would recommend sizing up by at least half a size. I also would not recommend that you buy these if you are from the UK, if you have any issues, as soon as customer services know you are from the UK they will stop replying and won't resolve the situation for you.
6 moths of ghosting
It took six months and 20 emails to get a refund after they repeatedly failed to ship my order and ghosted me 5 times. They claimed they would send my order, but never did. No explanation or support way provided. It was the worst experience I ever had with a EU store. Terrible
Terrible and useless service and poor product …
I relate to leave bad reviews but feel other O lifters should know. Wanted to patronize USA manufacturers and saw Hampton Morris using their products. I used the shoe size tool and ordered the size recommended. I specifically used the app - pictures and all - because the shoe was final sale. Shoe was way too small. Sent email and called customer service to say your tool doesn’t work. I hate to say it but an AI bot would have been better than the clueless rude person I corresponded with. She said they’d review and get back to me but never did. I can’t tell you how unsatisfactory the experience was. I will never order anything again and will tell all my clients BEWARE!! Maybe they should have stuck to bathing suits.
TYR has been a great brand for me
TYR has been a great brand for me. I recently lost a ton of weight and have had to get new training gear along the way. Luckily I seemed to need new sizes when TYR was having a sale. Their shoes, swim gear, wetsuits and running apparel have held up amazingly well compared to other brands I've tried in the past. I also LOVE my TYR knit beanie. I have two of them. My favorite brand would have to be TYR, with 2XU being a close second. The only issue I've had so far was I got a new hoodie that left black lint on every shirt I wore. I had to wash it inside out a few times to get that to stop.
The worst online shopping experience I've ever had
Almost 2 months to get a refund. I bought shoes online 19 Nov from TYR eu. They got stuck at UK customs due to a missing invoice. I emailed TYR asking them to provide info but they didn't reply so the shoes were sent back to their warehouse. Emailed again to ask if they would re send the shoes, again no response. I messaged on Facebook, Instagram and nothing. Almost 1 month later on 09 Dec, I finally get a response saying they will re-send the shoes. I waited and didn't receive any shipping info, so emailed again. On 17 Dec they tell me they'll refund the shoes. I follow up several times, don't hear anything back until 11 Jan when they finally refund me, nearly ONE MONTH since they said they'd refund me and nearly TWO MONTHS after I originally purchased the shoes. No apology, no acknowledgement of their poor customer service. Genuinely the worst online shopping/customer service I've ever experienced. As other reviewers have said, stay away and spend your money with another brand.
Stay away and save your money
The customer service is absolutely terrible both online and the store at Roosevelt Field. I was told by a customer service representative at the 800# I would be able to return shoes in person at the store, when I went to the store it was the complete opposite. In store staff was absolutely terrible, completely unprofessional and offered no assistance in trying to rectify a situation. Basically your problem nothing I’m going to do to assist. I have purchased several hundred dollars worth of items I like the products but after the experience I’ve had I will NEVER purchase another product from this company and would never recommend them to anyone. It is absurd to me that a company would be willing to treat any customer in such a poor and demeaning manner. Especially when the customer is wanting the product. I hope your company will have some customer service training opportunities in the very near future.

Just like the other reviews, I have had a seriously bad experience with customer service of TYR. The non -responsiveness is unbelievable. There is no other way than contacting them via email, but the email seem to disappear into a black hole. I even send a message via Linkedin to their CEO Matt DiLorenzo, but no response either, and he is the one that build the company. This is the last time I have bought anything from TYR

I foolishly trusted TYR brand to honour their contractual promise of a refund - even after I paid for a new pair while awaiting a refund.
The instant you buy their products, TYR stops caring about their customers’ satisfaction and statutory rights. They are clearly more interested in making money out of you, at whatever cost!
I ordered a pair of Men's CXT-2 Trainers, which came too small (contrary to their fitting size guidelines). I needed to replace the trainers, but TYR Customer Service said I needed to buy a new one and wait for the refund. They refused to offer an exchange service whereby they set aside the correct-sized trainers until they received the returned item (to avoid the risk of not having the correct pair for me by the time they received the returned package). TYR is more interested in their "future" customers and could not care less about the satisfaction of their "existing" customers who paid for their trainers.
So I purchased a new trainer simultaneously as I paid for a track and sign service postal at an extra charge of £25. I foolishly relied upon TYR's promise of a refund.
I contacted Customer Service to enquire about the next steps. They emailed me a form I printed and included inside the return shipment, sent on 26 September 2024.
Since 4 October 2024, The trainers have been stuck with the Dutch Customs. I have contacted the Post Office, who confirmed that TYR EU (1) was contacted several times and (2) has not bothered collecting the trainers.
As long as TYR refuses to collect the returned trainers, they do not have to issue me a refund, which is unacceptable!!
I immediately contacted TYR Customer Service to urge them to collect my returned trainers from Dutch Customs.
First, they made no apology whatsoever. They went straight on the offence! They quickly said that I had not included the correct form inside the parcel (they throw all sorts of lies to avoid taking the blame, including making things up - for example, even though TYR never collected the parcel, they have the audacity to claim I failed to follow the correct return procedure - in fact, I immediately pointed to that very same incompetent customer service representative, “Csaccoccio”, that it was himself who emailed me the correct refund form, which I printed and included inside the parcel. I even showed him pictures! He totally forgot that he was the one who emailed me the return/refund form to print and include inside the parcel).
Then, they pretended that the authorities never contacted TYR, which is absolutely absurd. I explained the law in this matter in that the instant we deposit at the Post Office a pre-paid postage package addressed to a recipient, that recipient becomes the de facto legal owner of that parcel and will be contacted by the postman, especially when the shipment is tracked and signed.
Nonetheless, I emailed them proof of my return shipment (pictures and tracking number) and asked TYR to collect it as soon as possible and refund me the outstanding amount.
I also took the opportunity to raise a complaint because this sort of behaviour is wholly unacceptable. Management should be able to follow up on our complaints, investigate and improve upon their abysmal service.
TYR refused to even respond to my email. Over 6 days have passed, and there is still no response! On their website, they do not provide a contact number, instead we need to email them on the fall pretence that they will contact us within 24-48 hrs! Absolute LIES.
Today, I received my returned shipment from the postman because TYR refused to collect the trainers from the Customs! STILL NO REFUND.
I have sent another email to TYR Customer Service, who are STILL NOT RESPONDING to my emails and DO NOT CARE that I purchased two pairs and relied upon TYR to refund me the unused trainers.
This has been one hell of a shopping experience with TYR.
