I had a reservation in Black Mountain 01/15-01/17. The weather was too dangerous to travel so I asked if they would be so kind to change my reservation due to dangerous road conditions. They refused to assist and after many phone calls and begging just to change my reservation to another weekend. They said we will have a response in 48 hours, well 48 hours have come and gone to no response.
Since they didn't care about my family's safety, I made a decision to cancel and lose $654.00. However, at one point one of their reps said we can change your reservation but you have to stay this month. I said let me look at my dates and I will call you back. When I called back to change they wouldn't honor what their own representative said. I feel as if they have lied and stolen my money.
I have never had this experience with VRBO or one of their management companies. I could understand if it was in my control but this situation wasn't and as I look outside my own home I wouldn't have made it back safely even tomorrow. We have over 4 inches of snow and now ice is forming. DOT says it's too dangerous to be on the roads and stay off. I can't believe they didn't put the customer first at all.
I hope people read this and think about booking first.
I would have had to check out at 10:00 on Monday and it's not supposed to be above freezing. I couldn't stay another day due to work.
It's been 4 days since they said I would hear from them.

This rental was everything advertised and more! Super-clean, cozy and welcoming. Very well-stocked kitchen. 2-car garage a plus. Nice quiet neighborhood. no complaints at all. and Turnkey customer service was excellent!

This beach house has everything and then some. The private beach was to die for. While we did have inclement weather - there were games to play - everything from board games to ping pong. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. We will be back.

Very nice cabin with a lot of sweet details! We had a very great time and will definitely come back again. Only problem is that there’s a bucket of water in the sauna with cigarette tips in it. Also most of the vents in the cabin have quite strong smell of smoke so we couldn’t turn any of them on.

There was some billing issues and the refrigerator was missing one leg so it wasn't balance. I also could not get the tv to work...possibly battery issue. Otherwise very convenient to the slopes.

Excellent experience with Turn-Key! Jay was very professional, excellent people skills, obviously very seasoned in the hospitality industry. We will use TK again!

Check-in was easy and the house was clean. The fireplace broke on our second day. Turnkey was easy to get a hold of and someone came within a couple hours to fix it. Great stay!

We recently visited Seattle for the holidays. The TurnKey Property we stayed at was just as pictured and described. The exception rating is being given for the wonderful customer service and communication for the property rental. Highly recommend this Seattle Property.

I booked this property through VRBO. We were heading to Utah to see our new grandchild. My reservation was canceled because the address on my credit card was incorrect. I was not happy with the way that VRBO handled it but I am happy to say that Turnkey was very easy to work with and reestablished my reservation. They were in constant communication with me before my vacation, during my vacation, and after my stay. This property was centrally located on the bus line to park city ski resort and was well-stocked with daily supplies. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. I would use Turnkey again because of their customer service.

Our trip was almost side-lined due to the big storm that hit Tahoe in late December. We were unable to get into the house the first night of our rental, but TurnKey has offered a future stay-credit which we appreciate.

Pros: The house was perfect for a large family. Large kitchen which was well-stocked with cooking pots, pans, etc. The living area was great for relaxing and playing games at the large table. The location was also perfect... just a 5 minute drive to town. We had fun sledding right outside the house. The driveway was plowed and ready for us when we arrived just after the storm.

Cons: This house could use a really deep clean! Because the rental allows pets (which is great!), I think extra time needs to be taken when it comes to cleaning. The carpet in the living room did not look like it had been vacuumed. The master bedroom did not look like the sheets had been changed, however TurnKey was very responsive and sent someone to deliver clean sheets (there were no extras any where in the house). The other bedrooms were fine. The master bedroom and bathroom also do not appear to have heat coming through. There was a small portable heater in the room which was helpful. For the money we paid to stay here during the holidays, we were overall super disappointed with the condition of the house.

Turnkey was notified at 5:24 p.m on November 24, 2021 by email that the house was unacceptable and we would not be able to stay and would write more later. Considering the dilemma you put us in, we had to focus on getting ourselves somewhere else and re-situated to celebrate Thanksgiving the next day, especially considering we had all our Thanksgiving groceries with us. More information was sent on the 26th and a complete letter describing the condition was sent on the 28th. Turnkey was notified one hour and twenty four minutes after the 4 p.m. check-in time.

In the past six weeks, I have tried repeatedly to resolve this issue with Turnkey Vacation Rentals to process a refund of $2690 for a three-night stay in Spicewood, TX.

I notified Turnkey immediately in the late afternoon of November 24th that the home where we had hoped to spend Thanksgiving was not up to basic standards and we could not stay there. Would you have enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner under a chandelier of cobwebs? Or wash the only two water glasses in the house with a brush encrusted with garbage? Or walk down unsafe metal stairs to the locked lower-level bedroom casita that we couldn’t get into as we looked from the outside at water-stained drapes? Feeling so unsafe on the stairs, we couldn’t walk down to the lake two flights lower either. Or sit outside on the balcony on dirty furniture? Grill was filthy and not available to use. Fireplace was also not usable. Not to mention the neighborhood signs throughout this gated community that said Say No to Hotel People. We didn’t even take our suitcases inside, turned around and drove the 65 miles back to my son’s home where the kitchen was under construction. Not exactly the Thanksgiving celebration we planned after so long apart.

On November 28, I wrote again to Turnkey and Marriott Homes & Villas and explained all the disappointment of the home in Spicewood where we tried to spend Thanksgiving and could not.

On December 4, Paula from Turnkey called to offer $300 in compensation. I declined that offer. She upped it to $400. I explained the full amount of $2690 would be acceptable. She said she’d talk to her supervisor. On December 23, Pam from Turnkey called and offered $550 to settle. Again, I told her the entire amount refunded is the only acceptable resolution to this nightmare. She said she’d talk to the Operations Director. On December 29 an email from Turnkey apologized and said they would bring the issue to the Home Care team.

Now January 8, 2022, Turnkey has still not resolved this issue nor does it seem like they intend to. Marriott Homes & Villas answers emails but has also not been able to get Turnkey to resolve the issue. I’m surprised Marriott wants their banner associated with this type of customer service. I rented this home based on that Marriott assurance of a quality place to stay. I must say, we are sorely disappointed. You might want to move on, find another vacation home rental company.

I made a reservation to Stay in Hilton Head SC. We booked a house and had 12 people staying there. We are going down there to see our niece graduate from the Marines at Paris Island NC. We booked the house in November. This week on Wednesday 1/5/22 we received a confirmation email with our key code etc. On Thursday 1/6/22 we received another email saying our reservation was canceled by Turnkey. We rented an RV for the family and were suppose to arrive in SC on 1/12/22. It was canceled 5 days before we were suppose to leave!! I called Turnkey which said that the reservation was canceled by Airbnb for maintenance issues. Airbnb did not cancel the booking as Turnkey was the host and canceled the reservation. Turnkey was suppose to have a represntative call me within 24 hours. It has been 30 hours and no one has called me back. I have called Turnkey multiple times. All I am told is there is nothing they can do and that they refunded my money. Really? They refunded my money!! Wow! Great Job Turnkey.. How about calling me back and finding me a plaace to stay. The house I was suppose to stay in was sold and the new owners did not want to rent it out. I was lied to and told it was canceled for maintenance issues. Do not use this company. They do not care about you and will not treat you right. The family still does not have a place to stay. All the hotels are booked. I do not know what we are going to do. I just wanted to get the family together to see my niece graduate the marines. This is awful.

Many problems.
Bad battery on door lock.
Very unreliable internet.
No access to all tv channels…just streaming from unreliable internet.
Poor response to calls…long waits and disconnects

Cabin had Ring Doorbell spotlight camera mounted above the hot tub. When I mentioned it in my review after my stay, customer service denied the camera had view of the hot tub, even though it obviously did since the light kept turning on. They also said the camera was meant for monitoring bears. Some creep is recording everything that happens in that hot tub and calling it "monitoring bear activity".

Great trip overall. Access to condo was clearly described in communication received prior to our arrival. Unit was very clean and basic necessities were provided (TP, paper towels, dish soap, bath soap, shampoo, laundry detergent). Had a question prior to arrival and was able to text and received prompt response.

Great rental!! Very clean and spacious. Wether you’re renting for an event or just to get away, it was the perfect rental for my family and friends. There were 11 of us. 6 adults & 5 kids. The kids were kept busy on the swing set, swimming in the pool and even fished the canal for a bit. We visit the Valley every year as we have family that lives there and New Years Eve is big for our family. I will definitely try to re rent this home when the time comes.

Ideal location to all skiing with a hot tub to return to after a day on the slopes. The kitchen and dining area were comfortable for cooking and dining. The basement bedroom and bathroom is a wonderful plus!

Absolutely wonderful stay in La Quinta! House was very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well appointed with cook wear, dishes and appliances. Plenty of towels and linens. Beds were very comfortable. The pool and spa were fabulous. Although exterior temperatures were in the mid to upper 60's during our Christmas visit, we were able to enjoy the heated pool and spa.
Had some initial difficulty locating the control panel for the pool and spa, but Turnkey was very responsive to my text and we were able to locate it and heat it up!
The Casita was just as clean and nice as the house. Definitely will visit this location again in the future. Thank you for making our Christmas visit a fabulous one!
