My husband and I could not be more pleased with the training our puppy has received from True Companions. We feel that we are now equipped to allow our puppy to be “the best that she can be”. She responded so well to Paige and we both learned the training cues to use as we continue to reinforce our puppy’s training. We could not give a higher recommendation for True Companions! We rescued a 6-year-old abused dog. Paige is very experienced in understanding how to work with such animals to integrate them into a normal home. Our fur baby has made great progress, thanks to her good suggestions and demonstrations on how to proceed!

Paige is wonderful I’m so many ways! She is always professional, caring and so knowledgeable for our family and our four legged Boston Terrier babies. We hired True Companions for our golden retriever puppy based upon our vet’s recommendation. Paige is wonderful, patient, and she spent a good deal of time helping us during our session. Highly recommend her for dog training needs!

I felt overwhelmed with a new puppy and knowing how to train him. Paige helped me feel supported and modeled for me how to teach down, sit at the door, walk on a leash, and many more things. She also answers all if my questions about what to do with unwanted behaviors. It was as a lot of fun trying out all if the games and puzzles she brought for my puppy Leo to try! I cannot rave enough about the experience I had with Paige as a dog trainer! My 9 month old French Bulldog, Ollie, was a bit on the stubborn side but Paige saw right through that and worked with me and Ollie to ensure we had great success with the foundational training! We had a wonderful Puppy Kindergarten experience! Our very spirited new puppy needed some lessons when it came to jumping on people when they walked in the door and walking on the leash. Paige was so patient and offered great advice and helped us and our pup tremendously.

Paige is so great with my dog Finnegan! She has helped us both work through some difficult training issues. I only wish I had started working with her earlier! I can highly highly recommend True Companions Dog Training and Paige Welch!

My husband and I (and our puppy!) have nothing but the utmost respect for Paige and her training techniques. Her technique is positive reinforcement, not negative feedback. She had an instant rapport with our 9 month old puppy and he was in instant love with Paige and always wanted to please her. She asked us what we wanted to work on each session, so the hour was dedicated to that lesson. She later sent an email with what was taught that session as a refresher. We kept it simple each time, so we and our pup had a good understanding by the next session. He has "graduated" from puppy kindergarten after 6 lessons and while he's not yet a perfect gentleman, he responds to our positive reinforcement and seems to love doing it. Paige is a wonderful, caring woman with a big heart and a true love for dogs. She was patient and positive with our very energetic puppy. She was calm and encouraging and had great ideas to help us train our pup Zoe, who loves Paige. Zoe was always so happy to see Paige when she arrived at our house.

Paige is fabulous. She loves dogs (and likes people, too). Uses positive reinforcement, very calm temperament which my dog responded to immediately. I commend her without reservation.

We have two male Bichon Frise puppies that are 14 months old. Paige has been indispensable in helping us tackle the unique behavioral issues that come with raising littermates. She is extremely patient with both the puppies and us and has been able to help us address several behavioral issues related to fear issues and separation anxiety. She is very experienced and clearly loves and understands dogs and we recommend her without reservation.

It was great working with Paige. So knowledgeable and so kind. I love that she doesn’t use shock collars. Dogs can learn without it. My dog loved her!

Paige is amazing. So sweet and patient. She is very attune to Maisy temperament and would adjust the training based on how she was responding. She also spend a great deal of time teaching my wife and I how to help Maisy learn and develop into a great dog.
