Fist time with Tropical Fish Co.
I bought four round tailed paradise fish from Tropical Fish Co. A species hard to get hold of. Tropical Fish Co not only were able to supply them as detailed on their website, but the price was good and more importantly they arrived happy and healthy. No issues. I was kept informed of their arrival date. Will definitely buy from them again!

i made a simple order with Tropical…Really disappointed with Tropical Fish Co
I ordered 3 different fish from Tropical Fish Co, but only 2 arrived.
They then proceeded to ignore my Email and just refund the missing fish. This wouldn't have been an issue but they didn't refund the delivery charge, and they didn't communicate back to me, they simply ignored me and refunded the money for the fish.
If Tropical fish Co cannot get a simple order correct then i simply cannot trust them to get a much larger order correct.
i then went to Aquatics to Your Door and ordered a 37 fish order and was pleasantly surprised they managed to get the order completely correct and they delivered within 5 days.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH TROPICAL FISH CO!
there is always a better company.

Very poor packaging one bag had burst and had very little water in it fish were half dead only lasted two days in the tank. There was no sticker saying live fish just a sticker with fragile on it 🤷♂️

Hi Costin, thank you for the feedback - we've tried hard to trace this and can't. All we have is the name "Costin", with no order number, email or postcode, so there's nothing for us to search against. Nothing in our records matches that name. Two things also don't add up for us. Your profile shows Greece, and we only sell and deliver within the UK - we have never shipped internationally, so unless you were ordering to a UK address while abroad, we can't see how a delivery from us would have reached you. And the date of experience given is 13 August: the orders placed with us that day are still here awaiting dispatch, so no fish from that date have been delivered to anyone yet. Was that date perhaps selected at random? We're genuinely happy to help if there is an order behind this. Please email us with your order number, the email address used, or the delivery postcode, and we will look into it straight away and put right anything that has gone wrong. On the photography - our listings use representative images and we state that clearly on the site, and if anyone receives livestock that doesn't match their order we always resolve it.

Your order was cancelled because the fish were not in good enough condition to travel, but we should have communicated that far more quickly and clearly. I had a very good experience with Tropical fish Uk, and very pleased with the service and customer communication.
I made a mistake on my order and had to cancel on last minute and change the fish. They were very helpful and helped me to solve my problem.
The only negative I need to mention is that delivery date was 5 days from my order. Although I know it is hard to dispatch live fish.

Great experience from start to finish. The delivery was on time, and all the fish arrived healthy and in excellent condition. As a beginner, I really appreciated the detailed care guides on their website for each fish, which made everything much easier to understand. AVOID
Awful. I asked them on day of purchase (5th of July) to delay my package so I could be home. Delivery date given was 15th so was given plenty of notice. No reply for nearly a week.
Request to cancel my order.
I get a reply and am assured they can adjust my order (previous request I had given up with) and it will be delayed a week.
I get a tracking number come through under a different name - email them in a panic and am told that no they had delayed the order,
Well, that was a lie. I just checked the account on tropical fish co and the poor, poor fish has now been with royal mail for TWO DAYS because they didnt delay it at all. Worse still, it is a Friday so that fish is going to stay stuck in the box until Monday when Royal Mail are next able to let me pick it up.
I feel awful for the poor thing and tropical fish co dont seem to give a sh*t. Also, they're whatsapp number takes you to aquatropics which are also a pretty iffy company. STAY CLEAR.
I have contacted citizens advice and will be seeking a full refund through the bank if needed. I feel so awful that an animal has suffered because of this.

Please email us directly with your order number, marked for the attention of the customer care manager, and we will deal with it as a priority. I'm also reviewing how delay requests are handled internally so this cannot happen to another customer or another animal.
