It gets about 70% of the transcript right even with clear professional microphones. It omits words and gets them wrong often. With the time it takes me to go through it line by line, rewinding, and editing I'd rather pay a bit more to have a human from Upwork transcribe them.

The product would be great if it actually picked up more words, however this is far from automated and requires too much time fixing errors.

This system has been a life-saver! I have to listen to several trainings and lectures every month for my certification. Unfortunately, I take in information better if I can read it at my own pace instead of listening to it and taking notes. I've used Trint to transcribe these lectures and I've found it to be exceedingly accurate and easy to use. I will continue to use Trint and I'm looking forward to seeing how they grow this application.

Super helpful. Works great and is affordable. It will never be as perfect as human transcription, but when you need a road map to audio, rather than a complete verbatim transcription, this is best—cheaper than human transcription, so much faster than transcribing myself from scratch.

This has made my life so much easier, totally recommend! I was skeptical because I've tried other transcription software before, and was disappointed. Trint's no commitment trial offer stood out to me--I figured they must trust their product if they aren't even asking people for their payment methods. I was hooked immediately.

Having this capability certainly saves me a great deal of time in transcribing interviews. It is fairly accurate, as I still bed to go through the audio and make corrections. I tried the trial and signed up for pay as you go until I get to the real data collection part of my dissertation as I know that is when I will really need the extra time this service saves me.

I tried the 30 minutes free trial of Trint. I was amazed at the speed and accuracy of capturing my voice (which can slur at the best of times). Even with music in background reducing the quality, I was able to edit it quick. The transcription is easy to read font and layout so it is quick to edit and paragraph it before emailing it to myself. I decided to subscribe because I have a podcast so I can get a transcription right away and post both the audio and text within minutes into a blog post. No waiting!

Such an amazing tool to use for my dissertation, specifically, transcribing interviews. Each of the tools are extremely helpful and the interface is user friendly! I am amazed at this invaluable tool.

Excellent website, its saved me so much time, money and pain. I transcribe meetings with multiple people / accents so its not easy or 100% perfect in translate every word perfectly, but overall this is a superb website that i will continue to use and promote to my clients.

Easy to use and fast. Coped quite well with Australian accents as well as US English. I used it for transcribing audio interviews with artists and it was great. Only suggestion is to include USD after final amount on invoice to match up difference with currency conversion (to AUD) on credit card.

As a newspaper reporter, Trint is an extremely useful tool for me. Definitely more effective on recordings made with my desk phone than with my tape recorder, but that's to be expected.

The online platform and everything is top notch, made the whole process quite seamless and easy. The speech-to-text accuracy could be improved, perhaps allow users to upload a set of keywords/jargon for the software to look for to prevent it getting it wrong every time.

Amazed. Tried many methods to automatically transcribe interviews, google docs, etc. and the were all less than adequate. Trint blew me away. I'm from Australia and have interviewed many locals with thick accents, and immigrants, from Asia and the middlle east. The Australians trint did as well as I couldn't imagine, I just had to clean up some grammar. But even the English as a second language subjects transcriptions were very good. I had to do a little more editing, but still it saved me many hours of work. Highly recommend.

Trint has been an amazing new support tool for me. I use it for my teaching at USC's Marshall School of Business, transcribing presentations that I've made at various conferences and helping me in the creation of my You Tube channel. Prices are reasonable and it works!!

Trint is so easy to use! Allowed us to pull transcripts together quickly, with only minimal cleanup needed. This made it easier to find the footage we needed for our short video clips. I especially like the highlight / play highlights feature. Excellent tool I will definitely recommend to others.

Regrettably the transcription in portuguese is not good. Could not use it. Looking forward for a near future where this could be improved.

Trint has made transcribing interviews much, much faster and easier! Also, Trint is easy to learn to use! Trint has moved my research along!

Video producer here, doing mostly on-camera interview transcriptions. First off, U.S.-based servers using AWS. That was important for my company. Until now, we had to pay high rates and/or wait a week for online transcriptions that were US-based.

Second, accuracy. It's not entirely hands-off; you will still need a human to review the transcription and error-check. Online transcription houses do that for you; with Trint, you do that yourself. But it's very accurate, and changes are easy to make.

Thirdly, I don't have to wait. Not even 24 hours. I can have my interview ready to go quickly, sometimes within minutes.

Controls are intuitive and fluid. Workflow is simple. If I had to scrape for a complaint, it would be to make the accuracy even better, so that I barely have to touch it. But seriously, it's pretty damn good.

Suggestion #1: work with Adobe to create a panel for Adobe Premiere Pro. This would allow editors and producers to handing 'Trint-ing' from within the application.
