Apart from a brief lull over Christmas/New year the service received was timely, expert, well delivered and courteous. My wife and I were felt to be important and valued.

Had a good experience dealing with Katie and Jane on an elderly relatives house move as power of attorney. Many thanks and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Trewthowans to family and friends.

Throughout our journey to successfully sell our property Trethowans have been efficient and kept us informed at all times. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Well done.

I live abroad and thehouse sale these guys were supporting took nearly a year to complete, due to other parts of the chain being so terrible, these guys handled all of the delays, communicated well, rolled with the twists and turns unphased and supportive the whole way through.

Professional, diligent, and efficient. I’ve used Trethowans LLP, with Denise Owen in particular handling my purchase, and the entire process from instruction through to exchange of contracts was handled smoothly and professionally. It was my first house purchase, and I felt supported the whole time. I'd definitely go back to them.

Professional, compassionate, and supportive throughout my daughter’s injury compensation claim. Excellent service and a great outcome. Highly recommended.

Excellent service.
Denise did the job fabulously.
Attention to details at its peak, I will gladly recommend them

Trethowans guided us through the whole process of buying a property, and throughout they were helpful and very professional. The service we received was excellent and we would definitely recommend them

I was involved over a case of Medical Negligence. I did have a win which was excellent news. Felt it went on too long. And in the end just accepted what I was offered as I didn't want to go through any more appointments and being told what to do.

Very professional and helpful

Great service from Trethowans as they handled my Divorce. Jacqueline Reeves was quick, compassionate, thorough and helped me through the process to a satisfactory conclusion. Thoroughly recommend.

Very sympathetic, accommodating and professional. Met with Ellie who is very patient, supportive and kind.
I would always go to Trethowans when needing legal advice in the future.

Trethowans made the whole experience of selling my property and purchasing another so easy.
I was kept informed at each stage, and marianna and her team were always on hand to answer any questions at any time.

Laura is simply brilliant. From start to finish, she made what was at times an incredibly challenging and overwhelming process feel manageable and supported.

Laura took the time to explain everything clearly and guided me through every step with care and confidence.

Her support went far beyond professionalism — Laura was compassionate and genuinely invested in my wellbeing. She truly understood what I was going through and consistently acted with empathy. Every piece of advice she gave was carefully considered and always in my best interests.

Laura’s expertise and knowledge were excellent. She gave clear, reassuring guidance throughout which gave me complete confidence in my claim.

I am delighted with the outcome and incredibly grateful to Laura and her team for their dedication, hard work, and unwavering support. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

At probably the most stressful time of our lives Lucy Spollin not only worked tirelessly to get our bridging loan over the line but also communicated with us throughout every stage of the process. I am ocd at the best of times but Lucy, and Mia, ensured my concerns were answered, kept in contact, helped to keep us calm and worked their socks off to get everything completed within our deadline. I cannot thank Lucy enough and have no hesitation in recommending Lucy to anyone buying or selling a property.

I can’t thank Trethowans Solicitors enough, especially James, for the incredible support over what was a long and challenging case.

From day one, James was approachable, patient, and always happy to answer questions — no matter how many I had. He explained everything clearly, kept me updated throughout, and was consistently supportive over the five-year process.

The outcome achieved has made a huge difference to me. I genuinely felt looked after every step of the way.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Trethowans Solicitors to anyone needing legal support.

Amy was very good at sorting out my mum’s power of attorney

We highly recommend Trethowans. We used the firm back in 2020 when we purchased our first property and were impressed then but, for our recent sale and purchase, they have surpassed our expectations. Communications have been excellent, responding to all queries in a timely manner, all work has been delivered to a very high quality and above all, our contacts have been professional yet very friendly in all interactions. We will certainly use Trethowans again in the future.

Very responsive and helpful, providing all the information I needed and answering my questions promptly.
