Treadmill Doctor Arvostelua 

wife's treadmill quit working. I figured it was a control board but wasn't sure so I called and talked to a tech. I described the problem ordered the part - it arrived 2 days later in the afternoon. Instructions were simple to follow but i didn't really need them.

My only question was the existing (old) control board has a plug for a ground wire mounted to the frame of the unit. New one didn't.

I did have to reverse the wires for the incline motor. Motor speed was accurate with no adjustment needed.

All in all it took me about 1/2 hour to do everything.

I will say I'm somewhat mechanically inclined so I'm not afraid to tackle things like this. But basically you take the cover off the motor area. Take 2 screws loose that mound the board to the unit. Then it's a matter of unplugging 1 set of wires and installing on the new board - 1 set at a time.

It may have gone a little faster because I had a 4 year old helping me and when it came time to plug in and test - he kept his fingers crossed (must have worked). now my wife can get back on that horse and start walking again. (I walk outside).

Mike was nice but the treadmill repair kit didn’t work for my machine. I’m still waiting for my money to be returned after 3 weeks of sending back the kit.

Great advice, suggested fix was successful.

The replacement part worked fine. My issue is that instead of paying a one time fee for the part, it was chopped into several payments which makes no sense.

The Purchase was programed to be delivered in one week and it was delivered in one and a half month.
