Travel Editions Arvostelua 

We have just finished the most recent tour hosted by Anne and Scott Anderson based in Wetheral, just outside Carlisle.
The hotel was conveniently located, the choice of venues was excellent. We were impressed by how the individual locations blended so well to set the scene for Anne to knit them together so comprehensively with her anecdotes and humour. Anne has an encyclopaedic knowledge and she has the capacity to deliver her talks clearly and confidently. It is also clear to us that Scott knows far more than he lets on!
We hope to continue to patronise the UK based tours that Travel Editions offers. The continental tours add an extra level of complexity that make them much less appealing in these uncertain times.

I have now been on ten specialist botanical tours with Travel Editions and ALL have been very efficiently managed from booking to travel and local arrangements. The leaders on each have been outstanding. The accommodation in Greece has always been ideal for the daily field trips. I feel l can recommend unreservedly such tours to anyone interested in the Mediterranean flora.

My holiday with Travel Editions - Island Odyssey encompassed visits to three of the lesser visited islands in the Cyclades. This and a small group escorted by an excellent tour manager ( supported by local expert guides) made for what felt like an exclusive experience.
The accommodation had character and was of an excellent standard. The company is sympathetic to the single traveller, I would recommend them and this holiday.

Well organised, friendly, well paced tours, to sites I might not go to if I travelled independently. I went on the Wild Flowers of the Peloponnese tour. The tour manager was excellent, our driver friendly, knowledgeable and diligent (he had talked to the locals and been out the previous week to scope out sites for the wild flowers). I really appreciated our tour leader, Graham's extensive knowledge of the wild flowers of the area, his patience and good humour.

Travel Editions trip to Lake Annecy with wonderful trips out. Les Grillons hotel was excellent. Karen was our guide and did an impeccable job.

He is extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable.
Interesting itinerary.
All the gardens we visited were fantastic, all very different from each other. Some were small some palatial.
Kilnashee hotel was excellent, staff just mega pleasant and helpful.
Food was delicious.
Gardens well cared for and beautiful.
Sometimes coach parties are stuck in a separate dining area...not here, we were in the main dining room they treated us as normal guests.
Coaches comfortable.
Many guest arrived in Dublin with no luggage .((conveyor belt problem at Heathrow, complete chaos) Hilary our guide worked tirelessly the whole holiday to try and get luggage reunited to every guest.
Warning.
It was cold and damp./one day rain was torrential.
This is after all Ireland in mid May!
Make sure you take warm and waterproof clothing!

Excellent expert and tour guide. Great choice of places to explore and flexibility in adapting the programme to circumstances. Lovely memories of beautiful places and superb range of wild flowers.

The Lowwood Bay Hotel and Spa, fabulous food and spa. Interesting places to visit. Well organised by Ann and Scot, who have supeub knowledge of the subject, and also know the ammount of time their group will want to spend at each lication.Good people on the coach trip. Excellent coach driver Tiko coping well with the narrow windy lanes. etc, etc

The Art Nouveau tour of Turin was excellent. The hotel was very pleasant and central. The tour expert, Prof Anne Anderson, was hugely knowledgeable and good fun too. We covered a lot of ground and saw some excellent architecture. Really enjoyable.

We have travelled many times with Travel Editions because we find the whole experience - from booking to the trip itself - really good, with interesting tours. We have already travelled to Nice this year with them and have a furher two holidays booked with them, including a Christmas trip. The tour leader is always friendly and looks after everyone the whole time. We love the Christmas trips and have 'done' a Travel Editions Christmas 4 years running!

Great destinations and always in good company. Have been on several trips with them now, most recently over Christmas in Granada (Spain). Itinerary always well -thought out with good balance of things to see and do. Some free time is also included in the programmes, which I appreciate.

The art tours organised by Travel Editions are a real treat, the reason I keep coming back for more. The knowledge input through the evening lectures and the daily visits is superb. The attention to the travel and accommodation details, both in advance and during the tour itself, ensures everything works smoothly. Cannot recommend more highly!

Great informative tour lead by knowledgeable and personable people. Magnificent buildings and lots of information were key to the enjoyment.

The Languedoc-Roussillon tour had a very good choice of places visited, all interesting and providing a nicely varied experience of what is a richly fascinating region. It was good to have the Hotel Metropole in Montpellier as a single base, very convenient to explore the fully pedestrianised Old Town. Our guide Gerard provided a well-informed commentary, not too much, not too little. The group had several single travellers like myself, all very companionable and definitely adding to the enjoyment of the holiday. This was my second Travel Editions tour and reinforced my feeling that I needn't look further than their brochures for my next trip.

The holiday was very well planned with plenty of interesting and very helpful information from our guide. We also managed to see many places without it feeling at all too rushed.
The hotel were very welcoming and accommodating. A very comfortable stay.

I went on the Dutch Masters tour; all the travel arrangements were good, as was the hotel, and the tour guide was excellent

The holiday was very well organised. The hotel was well chosen with excellent facilities. We had a very knowledgeable Tour Leader in Prof. Anne Anderson, who imparted her knowledge in a bright cheery manner. The lectures before dinner were especially enjoyable.
Downsides. We could have had a much bigger coach to take us around. It felt very small and poky.
We did not see anything of York, even though the holiday was billed as Art around York.

The tours are well organised, the guides are excellant and the accommodation is always satisfactory.

We were looked after every step of the way and didn’t have to worry about anything. Our guide was extremely helpful and very knowledgable.
