My original ticket price increased from £950 to £1,000, which I paid. A few weeks later and very close to my departure date, Travcart informed me that my booking had been cancelled due to a so-called “mass cancellation,” even though the flight itself was still operating.
Because of this, I had to pay an extra £500 for a new ticket, and the replacement flight left me with an 8-hour layover, compared to the original 1-hour layover I had booked. Despite the huge inconvenience and additional cost, Travcart offered no support or compensation.
They also told me that my refund would take 15 days (around the day I was supposed to travel) which meant I couldn’t get an immediate refund to book a new flight with another company.
Save your money and book directly with the airline or choose a more reliable company that actually values its customers.

Unfortunately, these large-scale cancellations are outside our direct control and can occur due to airline inventory, fare audits, or other operational reasons. This was not a decision made by Travcart.
Once the cancellation was confirmed, we informed you promptly and initiated the refund process in accordance with the airline’s procedures. We managed the funds somehow and got you the new flights well in time, even in a very tight situation.
Regarding alternative flight pricing and layover times, fares and availability are determined by the airline and are subject to significant changes closer to departure. While we understand the inconvenience caused, we are unable to control fare increases or offer compensation for airline-driven disruptions.
Travcart remains committed to transparency and acting in good faith, and we always work within the options and policies provided by our airline partners. If you would like us to review your booking further or provide additional clarification, our support team remains available to assist.

ABSOLUTE SCAM OPERATION — STAY FAR AWAY!
I booked a return ticket through this agency three months before my flight. They issued a ticket, and when I contacted Ethiopian Airlines directly, the booking was confirmed. Then, out of nowhere, two weeks before my trip, I tried to buy extra luggage and discovered my entire reservation had mysteriously vanished. Ethiopian Airlines informed me that this agency themselves cancelled my ticket and requested a refund — WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE.
I am now left without a booking, and the agency is blatantly refusing to help or return my money. Their behaviour is deceitful, dishonest, and absolutely unacceptable.
This company is a complete scam. Avoid them at all costs.
I have seen the response from Travcart and I can confirm they are very unprofessional and still maintain my stance on Travcart being a scam. I called Ethiopian Airlines directly on several occasions and they confirmed TravCart requested for the cancellation and refund of our tickets. The sad part is, they did not inform us of anything until we one day decided to call the airline because we could not find out booking with the details TravCart gave us. Only for us to know we have been scammed.
On the refund, we had to chase them for about 2 weeks to have our money refunded after which we had incurred an extra cost of £2000 to secure a new flight ourself. Causing us financial and psychological stress for weeks. They were not even helpful to provide a replacement flight neither compensation for trying to scam us.
They did not care, not customer oriented or anything close to professionalism.
THEY ARE A SCAM. DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I bought a return ticket with this agency about 3 months prior to my flight. I was issued a ticket, and I contacted Ethiopian airline directly for confirmation of my ticket. I no longer have a reservation on the flight and the agency is refusing to co-operate with me in retrieving my money back. They are scammers. Avoid them!!!!
They have replied implying I have received my full refund which is false. I still haven’t received my money. They are not co-operative. I have been reaching out to your team and it’s been one excuse after another in trying to retrieve my refund. SCAM!!!

I had a terrible experience with Travcart
I recently booked a flight through TravCart , and the experience was extremely frustrating. Right after I paid, I received a call saying my ticket was not available anymore and that they would refund me. Since it was midnight, I asked them to call the next morning—no one did.
When I called back, the manager Roger was very polite and promised to resolve the issue within two hours. No call. When I followed up again, he said he’d call back in 30 minutes, but instead I got a call from an agent named Jonathan who was rude, unprofessional, and kept insisting I pay an extra £350 to book with Virgin Atlantic. He ignored everything I tried to explain and even questioned why I spoke to the manager.
I later spoke to another manager, but was told my only option was to change dates or pay more. In the end, I had no choice but to ask for a refund.
Very disappointing experience.

Never used TravCart before but happy with service. Only issue (hence only 4 stars) was that I was told e-tickets would be sent within 1-2 hrs once payment was made. There was a glitch with this as Premium Economy price changed for return journey and I had to phone to sort it out. They did not arrive the day they were ordered and I had to chase the following day. This was a bit worrying as I'd never use TravCart before, however the reviews were reassuring and eventually they did arrive. Roger and Harry were very helpful.
