We turned up at our scheduled return time of 630am & everything went really smoothly. The shuttle was there. Returning the car took 5 minutes.
The VW 4+ 1 Caddy was comfortable for our very tall family of 4 & all our luggage.

The car i hired was a Citroen C3 it was far from new having covered a mere 125500 km the car had lots of damage, it was hard to check the damage on the car with the photos they provided as part of the contract you have to sign as there was so much of it. I hired the car through Ryanair and the biggest issue i had was having to pay a preperation cost at the car hire desk of 24 euros everyone that didnt take there extra insurance had to pay this charge apparently it was hidden in the small print as part of the terms and conditions. I feel it should be included or shown as a cost in the initial price of the rental.

After years of being a loyal customer and renting cars for months at a time, I am officially done with Top Rent A Car.
1. Unacceptable Hygiene: The car interior was not perfectly clean at pickup and smelled intolerably of cigarettes. It was shameful to put a 2-year-old child into that stench, but we had no other choice at the moment.
2. Double Standards & Greed: Because we didn't purchase their internal extra insurance, the staff inspected the car 'under a magnifying glass' upon return. They charged me a €60 'interior damage' fee for a bit of dust from a child’s shoe on the seat—despite the fact that the car wasn't even perfectly clean when they gave it to us.
3. The 'Penalty' Fee: Even though I wiped the dust off with a wet wipe right in front of them and the seat was spotless, they insisted on a fee for 'seat professional cleaning'—a service they clearly won’t perform as the seat is clean. It was a blatant attempt to 'punish' us for not taking their insurance, which was an obvious act of theft.
4. Zero Loyalty: It is pathetic that €60 is more valuable to them than a returning customer who was about to book another long-term rental worth over €600 and over the years kept recommending them to friends and partners. It seems for Top Rent A Car, a quick €60 today is more important than €600 next month. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid them if you don't want to be scammed over 'dust'.

This is a second year renting from this company. I’m really happy with the service and the professionalism of top rent a car. The people are polite and very easy to work with as going thru the process. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the company's policies and expertise.
First of all, the deposit is supposed to be a one-time fee, no matter how long the rental term is. Every rental of 20 days or more must be secured with an additional deposit. The first deposit is not released straight away but in a couple of days 24-48hrs.
Second - Usually in Varna, Bulgaria during winter is off peak, but the price has doubled when asked to extend my rental which was explained as a season.
Last but not least as my plans had completely changed I had to cancel. So I did it 10 days before the end of my rental which caused a fee of 3 days' rental + 20%.
Also for some reason, I had been charged 45€ for some extra things, but they couldn't explain what exactly; furthermore, I haven't received any document with all the costs and expenses in total and what exact amount should I receive.
I've been a regular customer with Top Rent a Car but probably this will be my last interaction with.

I always use Top Rent a Car in Bulgaria.
The staff, both picking up and dropping off the car, are excellent. Always courteous and helpful.
I will continue to use this company.

The Hyundai I20 is a great car, it only had 4000 km on it. It is automatic and has enough power and is fuel efficient. The service from Top rent a car is good very friendly.

Excellent service. A sporty car and modern design. On the road the car performs really well, especially in city driving. It's compact and perfect to tight streets and parking spaces. Fuel efficiency was another big plus.
The rental process itself was smooth and the car was clean and well maintained.
