They promised they’d make a visit Friday and at 3:30 said an engineer was an hour away but no one came. When I rang they said he had a problem at his last job and he can’t come now. I asked them to come Saturday but they couldn’t even tell me when. I rang Saturday morning & they still wouldn’t tell me when. My garage was open all night. I’m an elderly disabled widow and I think their service was very poor.

Up and over garage door would not open. Found this company on line and were able to book a visit for the same day. Tim the engineer arrived explained what the problem was and what he would need to do to repair the door. Agreed the price which included an OAP discount with his back office team and he got on with the job. Just over an hour later Tim again explained what he had done and showed me the replaced parts and demonstrated the working garage door. He also offered advice on ongoing maintenance. Excellent service.

I called TGD’s in an emergency when my garage door completely broke, cables, and other mechanisms all failed and broken, I called them around 16.30 and they had an engineer at my house by 08.30 next day, lovely chap, who identified the issues gave me the quote and got to work, he had all the parts on the van and was done within 2 hours door is the best it’s ever been I would 100% recommend them to anyone for door repairs or upgrades, maintenance etc.

My engineer turned up on time & carried out a service of our electric garage door. I was impressed how he took time to explain how the door worked, how and where to lubricate the rollers and also how to operate it in the event of a power cut. Would definitely recommend.

Simply- very responsive, price was reasonable ( never had a repair done before) , the engineer was very respectful and also helpful…. In conclusion I would definitely recommend this company for all the reasons above.
