I have purchased two TIPMs from this place. The first was a rebuild TIPM, I installed it on my Ram 2012. Tested it and it was defective. I returned it and told them I wanted a new TIPM this time. After receiving & installing the, suppositive new TIPM, it worked for a little over a year, and it gave out as well. I called them to see if there was something they could do seeing that their product had failed twice. They refused to help. I suspect the second TIPM they sold me as new, was more than likely a rebuild TIPM. I would discourage anyone from buying from these people.

Once we were able to identify that the aftermarket fan was the cause and the original fan was installed, everything worked just fine. Aftermarket fans do not work with the TIPM on a 2013 Jeep !

They fixed my Tipm fast and my truck runs great now. For the price and the experience, you can't beat it with a lead pipe. There are video's that show you what to do step by step and they fixed and tested everything on my Tipm. I can't speak highly enough about Maks Tipm rebuilders. They saved me a bundle.

They kept in contact with me thoroughly throughout the receiving, repair, troubleshooting, and shipping process. Very reasonable price for a quality repair and timely return back to me so I could get back on the road. Only took about a week to ship to them, repair, and get my part back. Truck has been running great with no issues ever since I re-installed the repaired TIPM about two weeks ago! Would highly recommend for anyone like me who doesn't want to risk trying to fix a circuit board themselves!

I appreciated having an affordable option for testing and repair of my TIPM. MAKS was the best price I found. Ordering and shipping is simple and you're kept updated through each step of the process and are given recommendations of other things to check if the TIPM isn't the issue. My TIPM was tested and returned in just a couple weeks.

I kinda got the run around on first call to see about figment of unit. I went ahead and ordered ECM and it was shipped overnite. ECM performed flawlessly. Very satisfied

This part came perfectly packaged to prevent damage. I love that it included an instructional book and fuse layout pamplet. Box included return label to ship back my core that saves me from extra hassle. The unit plugged right into truck and works perfectly as it was intended. I would recommend maks for anyone needing parts.

If a vin is needed then when asked first day know what ur talking about. Second when u ask for update on why item was not shipped get update and call back customer when you say u will. Customer shouldn't have to call for two weeks for updates on why item not shipped yet when promised item in five business days .company lacks customer service and if u dont have part dont offer it plain as day there not hard .

My truck was acting weird electrically, so I sent my power module to MAKS to take a look. They found the issues, fixed them and got my part back to me expeditiously. My truck is back to it's old self! Thanks!

Alfritz, Franz, and Julia!🏆 this company and these employees were so spot on helping me get the part for our 08 Dodge Ram 2500. Not ever using this company before, and then getting something that is so important redone, we were very nervous. We were so blessed to have such good instruction via the videos they have as well as their techs/customer service pointing out everything in a picture that needed to be fixed. Our truck started right up the first time after we took every step to pursue and implement protocol. We are over the moon at the fact that this company performed outstandingly well. We are so grateful for this company and those employees who have went above and beyond in their customer service. Shipping things to, and from were easy, our TIPM happened to come without a lid and the one that we had sent in to be refurbished had one… in no time the next day, they mailed the lid and rectified that quickly. No matter what mistakes might come about, the thing that stands out with any company is when they rectify a wrong and do it in such a timely and respectful fashion for the customer. We would not hesitate to do business with them again and will continue to refer people to this company. You guys were awesome! We were blessed to find you!

It's not often enough that a consumer comes across a company like MAKS, especially in the automotive industry. My son's Jeep was having electrical issues and the 2 mechanics I brought it to both said it needed a new TIPM. After some research and a few conversations with Franz in customer service, we placed an order on a Friday and it arrived as ordered on Tuesday. Unfortunately, after numerous soft resets the problem was not resolved. I reached out to Franz and he assisted with the return. I am not aware of too many companies that say here try this and if doesn't fix the problem you can return it. Franz was amazing and the company's commitment to reliability, affordability and convenience is greatly appreciated.

I showed up without an appointment with my TIPM. I met with Henry who kindly offered to do a quick test for me on the spot. Later I met Luis who was also very helpful and demonstrated my TIPM in their test car. Very helpful, friendly, and informative. Great company- I would definitely recommend. THANK YOU!

E mailed Questions and was answered back promptly and with the answer. The product was listed as used but it came bran new. They did a hell of a job.. Had my TIPM for a couple of days, it fixed the problem and car electrical is perfect. Real easy to do yourself.

The customer service is excellent, and quick turn around!!

Sent my TIPM in to MAKS to fix BOTH the fuel pump issue AND a problem with the low speed fan relay circuit. Order # REP-616831. Initially I thought that the Low Speed Fan Relay hadn't been fixed because it appeared to test the same as before I had sent it but upon re-installing it the problem seems to have been resolved. Have driven about 100 miles so far without the check engine light re-appearing. The reason I am still only giving three stars is that I have found the communication with MAKS to be absolutely terrible. I repeatedly asked for feedback and confirmation on what service had been performed on the TIPM and never received anything in return. I'm glad that the module is repaired (so far) but the overall experience wasn't confidence inspiring in any way.

Part was looking very new and clean. Pothier’s had know problem installing to get my truck programmed to my key module! Runs beautifully again!
