We had a fantastic time travelling around Rajasthan with Times India Travels. Rahul was a great driver, very professional, always on time, and cheerful. It would have been impossible for us to drive around the crazy roads in India, so luckily Rahul was there with us. All the hotels were very nice and we spent the perfect amount of time in each location to enjoy the cities and view the many palaces, forts, temples, and more. I highly reccomend using Times India Travels, and ask for Rahul as your driver.

I had a solo trip to Mumbai, Ellora and Ajanta. All perfectly organised, nice guides and drivers. I can only recommend this organiser.

Our trip to India went so smooth. Times India was amazing to work with. Vijay was right on top on all our travel plans. He responded quickly to every email and the arrangements were more than perfect. Our driver Rahul who we had with us some days 9-9 was beyond amazing. We felt so safe and his driving was remarkable. Our India trip with Times India Travels was excellent. The hotel Jagat Niwas Palace was a great mix of modern and heritage, and our driver, Rahul, was fantastic, Our guide, Mitesh was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. Myself and wife reviewed and contacted several Indian based travel companies with a basic itinerary and after much correspondence we decided to go with Times India Travel and I am so happy we did. They will happily create a whole itinerary for you or do a mix and match which is what we did. Everything went superbly. Our 18 day tour covered in Delhi, Agra, Ramathra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Mandawa and back to Delhi. We decided on taking a personal driver for all of the tour and we must give a special mention to our driver HAMMIT SINGH he was excellent. We also decided to select our own hotels in the end although Times India Travels can organise and did suggest some good options. Vijay and team provided guides for several cities and a few extra excursions which were all a nice bonus. All in all we had an excellent time throughout. Thanks again Times India Travels. We hope to return again one day so will certainly be in touch with them again.

My mum (78) and I (57) travelled to South India for 18 days. This is the second time using Times India Travels for our trip organiser/planner. Mr Vijay, who I communicated with through the planning stage, was amazing. Quick to respond and nothing was too much trouble. The beauty of letting Times India Travels design your perfect holiday is that you have the flexibility to customise it or just let them compile the whole itinerary if planning is not your thing. The best thing is, the price is comparable to a big bus tour but you have the benefit of having your own driver from start to finish, taking care of you.

We had the pleasure of having Mr Murali as our driver. We want to acknowledge, praise and thank him too. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, happy and caring. He always had our best interests as his number one priority. We always felt safe with his expert driving in the chaotic India traffic. His car was comfortable and always sparkling clean. He was not only our driver, but also our informative guide and now we also think of Murali as our friend.

Our hotels were wonderful. Such a variety of places were chosen for us. On a side note, the hotels should provide more acceptable driver accommodation. Mr Murali (and all drivers) work hard every day and deserve to be able to rest comfortably every night.

Vijay and his team at Times India Travels delivered the most amazing holiday. In the planning stage I established contact via email and WhatsApp with Vijay and he was always there to answer. Our small group spent 12 nights in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Amritsar - so many ‘wow’ moments. This is an A grade company and all the team go out of their way to look after you 100 per cent. So many little personnel touches and surprises. Thinking of booking…just do it….you won’t be disappointed.

Our group of five women traveled through India with Vijay at Times India Travels, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived to the day we departed, everything was handled with incredible professionalism and care.

Our 16 day trip, organised by Vijay of Times India Travels around the Golden Triangle and Udaipur, went perfectly. Prior to our trip we had worked out with Vijay an itinerary, and a choice of hotels, by email exchanges that were very professional and prompt. Vijay was also very happy to amend his initial itinerary to accommodate our requests. Vijay's support remained at an exemplary level throughout our trip, and he was invariably contactable via WhatsApp whenever we needed him to sort out the occasional issue. (For example, after 10 days, our excellent driver, Mr Singh, unfortunately advised us of the death of his uncle that morning, and Vijay sorted out a replacement driver without any disruption to our trip).
We stayed at wonderful and varied hotels; the arrangements for the guides to join us and take us to the sights, at each of the 5 cities that we visited, went seamlessly; and the train ride from Delhi to Agra and from Udaipur back to Delhi went exactly as planned by Vijay.
All in all, we would thoroughly recommend using Times India Travels to organise your trip to India. Having fallen in love with India on this first trip, we definitely intend to ask Vijay when we want to organise subsequent trips to Kerala, and Shimla & Kashmir.
We would also recommend our driver Mr Singh, as he was an extremely good driver and very professional.

Private 3 day TOUR To TAJ MAHAL & AGRA FORT & New Delhi from Mumbai

We booked a cruise to take us to India, Mumbai to be exact.

Actually we landed in Cochin first, and probably should’ve done things differently, but we didn’t.

Our main objective for visiting India was to visit the Taj Mahal, the last of the Seven Wonders of the World, missing from our bucket list.

We are lucky that we had done all the others. The task was not easy. Celebrity cruises did offer such tour, but their cost seemed outrageous to us, so we set out to find a lower cost alternative. We reached out to a number of Indian friends of ours, looking for contacts or recommendations. In the end we resorted to searching the web for an agency with a great reputation and stellar reviews; fortunately for us we found such an agency in TIMES INDIA TRAVELS.

We reached out to them, and established contact with VIJAY. We conducted many WhatsApp calls with him, detailing what we wanted to see & asking for his feedback on what else we should see. Finally we reached a plan.

It included picking us up from our ship, taking us to Mumbai Airport. Providing us with flight reservations to Agra, a chofer & a guide. Pickup from Agra Airport, a stay at a 4+ stars hotel, the Grand Mercure, for our visit to the Taj Mahal & the Red Fort, and for transportation to New Delhi.

Provided for a guide to meet us upon our arrival in New Delhi and for our tour of some of the sites of that city.

Reservations at the Metropolitan Hotel, another 4 star hotel and for transport to the New Delhi Airport, as well as flight to Goa, where we’d meet our cruise ship 2 days after having left in Mumbai, as well as pickup from the Goa Airport and transport to the port, to take our ship.

I need to elaborate on the guided tour to the Taj Mahal. We were very fortunate to have a guide that is a PhD in History as well as in English, who shared every detail of the history of the construction & survival of the site. In addition he was quite a talented photographer who took amazing photographs of us, as he’s so familiar with the site, that he knows every spot to get the best shots. The same was true of the Red Fort.

Our driver, second in the tour, who picked us up in Agra, drove 3.5 hours to New Delhi & dropped us at New Delhi Airport was an excellent driver. Driving in India is not for the faint of heart, I certainly would not attempt it, even though I’ve driven just about anywhere in the world including Naples & Rome.

Our tour of New Delhi was confined primarily to the old town, as we wanted to see the largest mosque & the oldest Jain Temple. We did see the India Gate & the Sikh Temple.

Our third driver was a duo of driver and guide, that not only picked us up from Goa Airport and drove us to Goa Cruise port, but also helped us navigate Indian immigration.

A note about immigration, not only it’s a complex process to obtain an Indian visa, navigating in and out of ports is challenging. It requires multiple checkpoints, it’s a definite complication.

The airports were not challenging, presenting passports was about it.

The flights were through Indigo Airlines, were on time and quite comparable to our US counterparts.

The hotels, the Grand Mercure in Agra was superb, breakfast was included, it was quite an assortment & plentiful. The room was spacious, the bed super comfortable, quiet. They featured a gym, swimming pool, spa, 3 restaurants, we opted for the Italian one, that was fabulous & very affordable. Their roof offered a view of the Taj Mahal. All in all an excellent hotel.

The Metropolitan in New Delhi was very good, but not in the same league with the Mercure. The room was spacious, the bed was ok, quiet enough. It featured a restaurant, where we had dinner & breakfast.

The breakfast was assorted, sadly due to our early departure we didn’t have much time to enjoy it.

Pricing was excellent, we paid less for both of us, than it would’ve cost for one, through Celebrity.

Vijay was a pleasure to deal with. Always available, on top of all the details, following up on every step along the way. He promised satisfaction and certainty delivered an unforgettable experience!

We had a fantastic trip, thanks to Vijay. With only a short amount of time between Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, Vijay suggested an iteneray and it worked out well. All the accommodation were taken care of, the transport (our driver was amazingly skilled and was super. We felt so comfortable with his driving and leaving our valubles in his care!) and the food was great. At each city we got a new guide, and they were knowleable and were prepared to change things as needed and were there to help us and suggest what things would be good to experience. When we had to catch the plane home, they were helpful in navigating the tricky customs/etc to get where we needed to go, which was helpful. We had 7 people travelling from grandparents to kids and we very comfortable with Vijay and his team.
If/when we come beck we will be using him and Vijay again.

From our arrival at Delhi airport, across through Rajasthan, on to Agra and the Taj Mahal, then down to Kerala, Vijay was our constant companion and friend. When presented with an opportunistic but short stay in India we turned to friends that had recently travelled there for a recommendation. Times India Travels was suggested. An organised tour like this is not the normal way we roll however given our limited 10 days it sounded like the best option.
And it certainly was! Vijay was prompt and helpful in getting an itinerary organised and we now appreciate the careful and expert detail that allowed us to make the best use of our limited time. We travelled Udaipur, Jodpur, Jaipur, Agra and Dehli.
We were greeted by Vijay in Jaipur and it became evident that despite his company operating for 15 yrs he was continually looking for feedback on how he could improve. And as stated this resulted in an excellent overall experience for us. Vijay and his team obviously care greatly that everything goes well and do their best to ensure it does.
