I did my first TimeLeft dinner on May 2024. I met an incredible group of people who are now my best friends for about one year and half. 🫶🏼

I’ve attended 50+ TL dinners in 2 countries and whilst some dinners have been better than others (due to group or location), I love the concept and having standing dinner plans each week exploring different restaurants in my city. Have made some amazing forever friends from the experience too!

I’m a little disappointed however that there is no referral or loyalty program in place. I’ve put a lot of people onto TimeLeft and clearly been a regular attendee but I just opened the app to book next weeks dinner and my 6 month subscription has run out. No problem.. go to renew my subscription and it has gone up by 21%. Obviously not a huge amount but it’s not sitting right with me unfortunately and I’ll be taking a break for now. Hopefully TL put some thought into some type of rewards program/recognition.

You promised 6 people for 6 weeks. First week had 5 which was alright, second week three. Not at all acceptable. I have repeatedly asked for my money back but no one responds. They make it impossible for you to get your money back and they don't care what your experience is at all

I recently attended a TIMELEFT dinner and overall had an okay experience. The event was well-organized, and I appreciated how friendly, polite, and open the other attendees were. While I didn’t walk away with a deep connection that extended beyond the dinner, I still genuinely enjoyed meeting such a thoughtful and diverse group of people. The conversation was engaging enough, and the vibe felt welcoming, even if not every personality clicked.

While quite loud, the restaurant selected was excellent in terms of food, though it was quite pricey. After that experience, I made sure to opt into a lower-cost event for next time—something I appreciated being able to adjust in the app. One downside is that all the dinners seem to be concentrated in the Winter Park, Florida area. I live in Southern Orlando, so the drive—especially after dinner and a drink—was long and not ideal on a work night.

Another small issue is the timing. The dinner started at 7 PM, which I know is fairly standard, but with the travel involved, an earlier start time (maybe 6 PM) would make it easier to attend without feeling rushed or getting home too late.

While I didn’t feel like this particular group was “my people,” the experience was still valuable. TIMELEFT is offering something unique, and I’m looking forward to trying again. I’m optimistic that future dinners will bring together the right mix of people and spark more lasting connections.

I have decided not to go every week -- it's just too long a drive and too expensive for me to do so. I'll do it occasionally, but I'm considering dropping out of the app due to the long drive. We'll see what happens moving forward.

I used Timeleft twice for dinner and I had the best time ever! Afternoon a really fun Friday night dinner, we decided to keep the fun going and ended up spending the weekend together! Best story ever!

Gutes Konzept. Aber beim Anmelden schon Probleme gehabt. Wollte EINMALIG daran teilnehmen, habe dieses auch angeklickt und über Paypal wurde mir dann ein Monatsabo berechnet. Dieses wollte ich kündigen. Gesagt wird, dass man das Abo in der App kündigen kann. Dem ist NICHT so. Etliche Emails geschrieben und nur generierte Antworten erhalten. Nicht individuell beantwortet. Habe es Paypal jetzt gemeldet und mich für die Veranstaltung gelöscht. Wenn es direkt am Anfang schon so los geht, hat man keine Lust es auszuprobieren. Werden weitere Abbuchungen getätigt, werde ich auch rechtliche Schritte einleiten.

I live in a big city and I made 2 Timeleft dinners that I really enjoyed. The app is very nicely done. You can note people you liked and get in touch with them (if they liked you back) or you can let the app know that you would like to avoid meeting someone again. The restaurants selected were fine - nothing exceptional, but good quality-price, absolutely convenient for friendly meetings.

Very good experience. Second dinner with Timeleft and every time I spent a very nice evening with like-minded people. A great opportunity to meet up new people, be it for just one evening or for longer friendship

I love that Timeleft takes the planning off my plate. The evening is already arranged, and I just get to show up and enjoy. The surprise of finding out the restaurant the day before adds a fun sense of adventure and spontaneity. It’s been such an easy, enjoyable way to meet great people and explore local spots.

didn’t expect much and it really surprised me positively. the dinners are greatly arranged from start to finish and the people you meet through the app are really interesting.

I meet some new people who I could see being friends with. There were 3 men and 2 women and all but one of us has a lot in common. That's pretty impressive considering they just picked random people. The one person I didn't get along with as well was nice but he didn't enjoy traveling as much as the rest of us. It was a great time. I'd go back.

I look forward, every week, to going to my Timeleft dinner. I've made some wonderful friends! It's nice that most of the people I sit with are in my age range. It's not perfect. Sometimes the restaurant is too loud, and every now and then I don't connect with most of the people at the table. Overall, I love going to most of the restaurants they choose. I think they are continually trying to develop the choices for more experiences. It's a wonderful idea. I've been going for about 9 months now.

Experiencia decadente, vamos solo a la cenar, yo i otro chico, en castizo, nadie nos dijo nada antes del evento, de fever no habia nadie, cenamos los dos y ya, yo creo que hasta un descuento que habia nos lo quitaron, y lo peor de todo, reclamamos y a uno le devuelven la totalidad y a otro la mitad, esa sensacion de que te estan tomando el pelo y ademas son unos incompetentes? empatia 0, pena no saber donde tienen la oficina. Ibamos con ilusion que es lo peor por que la idea parecia buena.

It was a great night.

The people at the meeting were socially weird which I guess it is to be expected, like maybe they were rejected from other friend groups also this was in Houston, Texas. Also they don’t tell you when you sign up that it’s a recurring charge so obviously they’re desperate attracting the desperate. No thanks.

I’ve done a few dinners, just purchasing one ticket at a time so it isn’t on a subscription. I’m surprised how well the guests are matched, and although not every time, I have met a couple of good friends through Timeleft! Love that you can now invite a friend to your dinner too, which makes it a bit less daunting the first time.

I was new to the city and it’s been a lovely way to ‘get out’ when feeling alone.
