Another fabulous experience shopping with this company.....this is my fourth order and once again I have nothing but good things to say. This purchase consisted of a marble chopping board, and a framed picture, both excellent value and superb quality. My order arrived very well wrapped and these fragile items were well protected. 1st class. The only negative is that I wished my house was bigger so I could keep on purchasing.
Avoid, company not delivering or replying any longer
Ordered on 12 Feb – never received the item.
First parcel was “returned” by Evri with no delivery attempt. They resent it, and the exact same thing happened again. After that, they stopped replying to my emails completely.
I’ve had to go through my bank to get my money back.
If you’re in the same situation: don’t keep chasing them endlessly. Raise a “goods not received” dispute with your bank and provide your emails and tracking.
Something is clearly not right here based on recent reviews. Avoid.

Appalling customer service. I placed 2 separate orders within a couple of days of each other - after two weeks I heard nothing so sent various emails asking for updates. Didn't receive a single reply to any of them! I tried calling, but it's an answerphone and you cant leave a message. After a few weeks eventually one of my orders turned up, but I received notification that I was being refunded for the other - no explanation given at all. Such a shame as the products look great, but not responding to customers is a surefire way to lose business.

The company provides a very poor service!
I ordered a lamp from online retailer The White Lighthouse Company, based in Ireland. The lamp arrived in a crumpled box and when I opened it the shade was also crumpled and broken and there was a large crack in the base. Neither had been protectively packaged.
I have tried to contact the company that sold me the lamp and they sent me a response email containing a link for an Evri return that does not work. They have no phone number and they have not responded to further email correspondence so I feel they have 'scammed' me out of my money.
This is a disreputable company that has no idea how to package breakables, has no customer services / after care service and I notice has a lot of reviews similar to this one!
My order of the small Farmington…
My first order of the small Farmington Rattan Storage Trunk hadn’t arrived after 2 weeks so I contacted customer service. Unlike other customers I couldn’t fault them. They sent out a replacement straight away and it arrived a few days later carefully packaged and in perfect condition. I am really pleased with the quality of the storage bench and think it was good value for money.

DO NOT use this company. I ordered a console table. It was poor quality, looked nothing like it was supposed to and badly damaged. When you return it you have to take to the post office and pay for the return, which they are supposed to reimburse you for. You will only get a refund when you ask, then a refund is issued but the postage is only part paid. No emails are answered. A dreadful experience with an appalling company.

Unfortunately I have not had a good experience with this business. I ordered two items…… one did arrive with a slightly damaged packaging & one item missing!! I did contact the company to which they did reply once and unfortunately now have chosen to ignore my emails.
Basically I am out of pocket financially and have yet to receive my lost item. I do appreciate items get misplaced regularly…. However, I feel this is something that a company should tackle with the chosen courier and the customer should not be penalised for the loss.

I cannot recommend ordering from this company. I was sent the incorrect order. The goods received were nice, but not what I had ordered. Despite numerous emails (to the address given), asking how to rectify the problem, I have yet to receive a reply from them. The customer phone line has a recorded message requesting you to email and you are unable to speak with anyone in person, or leave a message.
Feeling totally exasperated, I left messages on Facebook and Instagram, requesting somebody to contact me. I did not receive a response and now I have appeared to have been blocked from their FB page as I can no longer access it. I have contacted my credit card company to intervene through the appropriate channels.

Had a bit of misunderstanding on my part on my first order were very understanding after my horrible email I sent reordered what I wanted was delivered quickly in perfect condition well packaged as it was a fragile item so take the other reviews with a pinch of salt highly recommended.

My lovely mum purchased a lamp from this company for my birthday. The shade arrived badly crushed. I contacted the company (photos included) and was told I could not request a replacement because we were out of our ‘3 day window’. I then asked for a return for refund and was told I couldn’t return because the lamp was damaged. As you can all appreciate- this goes against trading standards.
The email responses I have received since have been dismissive, short and disrespectful.
I wish I’d read the Trust Pilot reviews first! We have now chosen to embark on legal action against this company. I have the time and married the right profession- appreciate many others leaving reviews on here don’t have the time, resources or inclination to go down this route. will update all on here as to my progress should you wish to do similar.

Unreliable Brand with Poor Customer Service
This brand appears to be unreliable. I ordered three items but never received an order number or the products. Despite reaching out to both email addresses listed on their website, I never got a response. Very disappointing experience.
Despicable service and disrespect of customers
I've just read the reviews on here - a year too late - but I can't believe the response on 24 Oct 2024 from The White Lighthouse to a customer review. You don't care about TrustPilot reviews? Well, what a way to run a business, and to make it so public?! Complete disdain for the views of customers and potential customers.
I had an issue with you last year. I purchased 2 lamps 19 Jan 2024, returned them, have proof of delivery back to you (which I sent to you) but never received a refund. I emailed several times, called (can't leave a message - again, what a way to run a business), posted on Facebook or insta (can't remember which) to try to get a reaction. Nothing.
Your treatment of customers is clearly questionable so for you to say 'a company is made up of people' whilst also saying anyone who leaves a negative review is unhinged is a little hypocritical. I'd love to hear from you and maybe we can discuss my refund?
DO NOT ORDER - zero customer service
I loved the website and ordered two table lamps. I then went on and ordered some cushion covers. I had a list of other items I planned to order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. It’s such a shame as the items were lovely. The two table lamps arrived, there was one shade missing. You call and a recorded message says to email them (you can’t speak to anyone and you can’t leave a message). I emailed, I was ignored. All they had to do was send me another shade out to resolve this. I have since opened a dispute with payPAL, they are saying proof of delivery is evidence it was delivered. I did have a delivery but the shade is missing. They have still not responded to any emails. I’m not a complainer but I am big on principle. This company have zero customer service and if something goes wrong they just blank you. They’ve blocked me from their Facebook now - what kind of company does this? I am guessing they didn’t have the shade, they still don’t have a shade to send me so just thought they’d rip me off instead for £65. I’m going to start small claims court next if I don’t get a refund via payPAL. I’m just a normal working mum and really begrudge wasting my time with chasing this but now will proceed out of principle. They may be Belfast based, but they are still part of the UK in terms of the small claims courts. Awful company.
Great website for home furnishings
Found this website while looking for a ceramic pot. So glad I did. My first order arrived within a week and the items were exactly as described on line. I have just received my second delivery and this arrived in less than a week. Totally in love with.my bench table for the hallway. Just waiting for the Marston jug to come back on stock

I ordered a few little bits from the company, and they were delivered within a week. The items are lovely and of good quality. Must admit that I was a little apprehensive after seeing some of the reviews on here, but I can genuinely say that I am perfectly happy with both the service and the items. Thank you
Slow delivery but lovely items
The order was slow to be dispatched (I ordered on 11th November and only received today). I didn't email customer service on a couple of occasions and they responded within a reasonable timeframe.
I didn't look at the reviews on Trustpilot until after I'd ordered and was expecting not to receive the items or for them to be damaged; however, I was pleasantly surprised. The items I ordered were in good condition and I really like them.
Only thing that could be improved is the speed of receiving the order.
