Purchased some protein and pre workout. Items were misdelivered and when I contacted the company I was asked to file a police report. Never heard anything so ridiculous in my life.

Extremely Disappointing – No Order, No Proper Resolution

I placed an order with this company and have now been waiting for 15 days, but I still have not received my order or received a proper resolution.

Throughout this period, I have repeatedly contacted them and received emails saying things like we are investigating, we are looking into it, and “we are speaking to the courier. However, despite all these messages, I have not actually received my order or a satisfactory solution.

The most frustrating part is that I have spent days waiting while being repeatedly told that the matter is being dealt with, but nothing has actually been resolved.

If you are considering ordering from this company, I would strongly recommend making sure you understand how delivery issues and refunds are handled before spending your money. My experience so far has been extremely disappointing, as I have neither received the product nor received a proper resolution. I hope the company finally takes responsibility and resolves this matter properly.

Extremely disappointing customer service – would not recommend

I purchased a £59.95 tub of PER4M Whey Protein from The Supplement Store and, having used this product for years, immediately noticed that something was not right. The powder had a very strong sour/off smell and taste when mixed with water. I stopped using it immediately and contacted the retailer.

I fully cooperated with everything they asked of me, including returning the actual tub to them at their request. Despite this, they refused to provide a refund and instead offered me £20 store credit, which I declined.

What I find particularly disappointing is how difficult they have made this throughout. They repeatedly relied on the fact that a retention sample from the same batch was within specification. However, PER4M themselves have since confirmed in writing that they are not questioning what I experienced, and that a batch being within specification and an individual customer experiencing a genuine off smell and taste are not contradictory. PER4M also confirmed that they did not inspect my individual tub.

The Supplement Store have now confirmed that they still have my actual tub and that it remains available for independent assessment or Trading Standards, but they have refused to fund any further assessment and have stated that this is their final position.

I have spent a considerable amount of time dealing with this, despite raising the issue promptly and doing everything I was asked to do. I certainly did not want to go through all of this over a tub of protein — I simply expected a reasonable resolution when I reported a product that I genuinely believed was not right.

I am particularly disappointed by the repeated references to being a “small family-run business”. I completely appreciate that they are a small business, but that does not change the fact that customers deserve to have genuine complaints handled fairly and reasonably.

PER4M themselves have been much more helpful and have kindly arranged a replacement as a gesture of goodwill. For that reason, I will continue purchasing PER4M products — but directly from PER4M rather than The Supplement Store.

Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be ordering from The Supplement Store again.

£59.95 spent, a lot of unnecessary stress, and ultimately no satisfactory resolution. Very disappointing.

I ordered a pre workout as my usual supplier was out of stock.this is the first time I'd used this company. The royal mail managed to screw up my delivery. After contacting customer services (no AI, real people!) their follow up service was excellent in resolving the issue and locating my parcel to rearrange delivery. Within minutes of my parcel being delivered today they emailed me to inform me. Really appreciate this type of service which unfortunately is hard to come by in today's businesses. Thank you again! :)

Great service! I ordered a flavour without checking all the other flavours then decided I wanted to change, even though they had already packed it they still went out of their way to change my order! The product also arrived within 36 hours. Would highly recommend, friendly and very quick responses by email

I was going to say this is ONE of the best store I've used and I've used many I'm a competitive bodybuilder but I can not say that this IS THE BEST STORE I've used hands down. I had an issue with delivery which was not the fault and the length they went to to get this resolved was like nothing I have every experienced. The quality of the product not to mention probable the cheapest around for genuine brands this goes without saying this is the only store I will be using even if a cheaper one comes out. The quality of service and and product won't be beat in my eyes. Amazing job guys and thank you so much I'm 2 weeks away from competition and you've saved the day.

I accidentally placed an order with the completely wrong adress. They where quick to respond to my message and sort things out amazing customer service.

Order received next day. Well packaged, great price on my probiotics. Will use again.

Really happy with this company. Ordered a few items for the first time and was very happy with the prices which are much lower than the brand websites or high street stores. Other comment notes sort use by dates but my products are all 2015/2016 dates so no probs there. Super fast delivery even though it was only standard and free! Will be ordering all my sports nutrition here from now on. Thanks very much.

The delivery was prompt and prices cheap, but items for sale were very short dated without any warning.
