USED ONCE and MALFUNCTIONED. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE A THERMOMIX
I bought a Thermomix on January 25th of '24. We moved into a new space in April '24 and the unit stay in the box completely undisturbed until then. The first time I used the unit was on April 17th it worked great and I was very excited. Today April 18th I went to use the unit and it completely malfunctioned and would not work. I performed the recommended factory reset with no success. After contacting Thermomix customer support, they informed me that a refund was not possible as it falls outside of their 30 day return policy. So given the fact that I wasn't able to use the unit within the three weeks of receiving it by mail, they will not refund me and they now claim that it will take 3 weeks to repair and reship the unit. BUYER BEWARE. It is truly saddening that a company like Vorwerk does not stand by the quality of their products. This setback is going to ultimately cost me months of time and thousands of dollars in labor and ingredients. I would not purchase a Thermomix again and I would advise any perspective customers to consider another brand before spending the money on this unit considering the return policy and lack of transparency from the customer support. The representative was very kind and polite however the corporate policies do not reflect a company that stands by their products. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
