Fabulous service

Toto was checked over and had his flea and wormer, tick medications so much better than the ones in pets at home. Claws were clipped all was good.

Visited Abbey Vets

Visited Abbey Vets, Durham with my poodle puppy on 5th April 2025 and signed up to the pethealthclub.co.uk and paid the first payment of £22.99 which meant a renewal date of 4th April 2026.
On 15th April a 2nd payment of £22.99 was taken by way of Direct Debit.
In February 2026 I received an email from both Abbey Vets and The Pet Health Club advising my Pet Plan was due for renewal on 14th March 2026. I disputed the date but did not receive a reply from TPHC, Abbey Vets informed me they had referred the date query to TPHC for them to sort out but again I heard nothing
On 5th March 2026 I visited Abbey Vets for a nail clip which is free under the pet plan.
On 24th March I received a demand from Abbey Vets for an 'outstanding debt' of £33.74 for the nail clip.
The nail clip was done 9 days before the renewal date of 14th March 2026 so should have been free.
In actual fact the pet plan should be valid until 4th April 2026.
To be fair Abbey Vets said they would delete the 'debt' when I phoned up to complain. It appears they have no clue when it comes to setting up these plans. It also seems that if you decide not to renew the plan it's cancelled immediately even if you have a month left.

As new puppy parents and on the…

As new puppy parents and on the recommendation from my son for his dog the service we received when going to the practice to register him was really fantastic, the receptionist was so lovely and helpful which is hard to find these days ,so we are looking forward to working with them for our puppies health in future.
