By the time I get home I usually have a few replies in my mailbox. I met couple of ladies offline and they were really nice. I just want to continue my search for a little while to see what I will come up with. As for TheLeague, a lot of fake profiles of attractive women are put there as baits for naive men. They want men to get curious and sign up. But after you sign up you can't contact these ladies. Most of them are either unavailable anymore or haven't been online for months or they just never read your letter even if you're able to send it.

This app is completely useless and a massive scam. I paid $699 upfront for a three-month subscription, expecting genuine engagement. However, after two weeks, I realized there was no real profile activity; not a single like or interaction. I immediately emailed customer support to cancel, but they refused to issue a refund. Throughout the entire three months, I received no likes or genuine engagement, confirming that the app has no real users involved. Everything about this platform appears to be entirely fake and misleading, making it a total waste of money.

Useless app, not recommended for several reasons: Paywalls everywhere, low quality matches, account got flagged for unclear reason (didn’t even talk to anyone) and most disappointing: the customer service. Had high expectations but the app is waste of time and energy.

Title: Unjustified Account Ban & No Transparency

I had my account banned without any clear explanation, and my appeal was rejected with a generic response citing “Terms of Use violations”, without specifying what exactly I did wrong.

What makes this even more concerning is that I hadn’t used the account for months prior to the ban. There was no recent activity that could reasonably justify such action, which raises serious questions about the accuracy and fairness of their enforcement process.

I reached out in good faith to understand the situation, but instead of receiving transparency or meaningful support, I was met with a final, non-negotiable decision and no details.

For a platform that emphasizes community and trust, the lack of clarity and accountability here is disappointing. Users deserve to know what they are being accused of and to have a fair opportunity to respond.

Until there is more transparency and a proper review process, I cannot recommend this service.

My experience with The League has been extremely disappointing. The platform presents itself as an exclusive, high-quality community, but the reality is far from that image. The approval and account management process feels arbitrary and opaque, with little to no explanation when issues occur. In my case, my account was removed without any clear reason, and there was no meaningful support or communication from the platform.

For a service that markets itself as premium, the level of professionalism and customer support is surprisingly poor. Users invest time creating profiles and connecting accounts, yet decisions affecting their accounts can happen suddenly and without transparency. It creates the impression that the platform values exclusivity marketing more than fair treatment of its users.

Overall, the experience felt frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend relying on this platform if you expect clear communication, fair moderation, or responsive support.

The suggested matches are located too far away and there are very few of them (5 per day). I found my luck on AFFSeek.com
This site has been more helpful than TheLeague in terms of the real dates. It looks like quality is completely gone from TheLeague. They use AI and fake or very old (already inactive) accounts to lure you into subscription. Even if you subscribe for kicks and giggles or if you just want to test the water, they will keep on billing your card each month anyway regardless your consent. The only thing they need to know is your bank details - that's enough for them to renew your subscription automatically without your authorization. It's a shame and disgrace!

I don’t recommend The League after paying for a month. Bumble is better and much cheaper. I have a masters degree and was matched with high school graduates several times. I teach high school, prefer to date men more educated than my seniors😂. Don’t fall for the propaganda-it is not elite.

This app sucks.

I repeatedly complained about the "matches" being WAY outside my geographical area. Almost all of the matches were Manhattan, NY.

The region I had chosen was Charlotte, NC. This is 634 miles from New York city! The matches were worthless to me.

As a software engineer and a data analyst, I am highly unimpressed with this app; especially given that The League, supposedly, is attracting only “educated” people. One would assume that the employees at this company are educated as well. However, I do not get that impression at all.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I signed up for this app in hopes for more quality and personalized content. Right from the start I’ve encountered multiple app glitches, limitations and issues. The platform is very cumbersome, it is of lower quality that so many simple apps out there. The customer service takes you for a run when you bring issues up and eventually disregards your concerns. If you are located in a smaller community, wish more limited range of profiles and are not part of large cities on their list, your matches and experiences will be so frustrating and useless. After a week from signing up to back and forth tech communication, I’ve deactivated my account. For such an expensive platform and the aura of quality and elite, it’s a poor choice.

They can start by making the free , it's a total rip off Run from the scam another scam I'm shocked to find out that maybe match doesn't own this cuz matches a total scam..

I’ve noticed two shady strategies.

First, when you stop paying, suddenly a bunch of people like you or match with you. You think they’re interested, so you consider paying again, but when you check, these profiles are completely inactive, or just fake ones they use from old accounts or non-paying users. Some even message you.

Second, another shady tactic: they use profiles of people who don’t pay, without those people even knowing, to message you. I’ve seen proof of this.

Terrible clunky platform , looks super stylish and high end which is cool at first , but absolutely shocking manipulation to get users to subscribe , really bad site and ‘matches ‘ seem to always be in Europe or a gazillion miles away .. random emails to say one has a ‘match’ but then tries to charge 250£ weekly to see that supposed match …. Don’t fall for the supposed exclusivity of this app .. shame as it does look cool and slick ..

I've been on it for over a month. I often get the same matches repeatedly. If I like them, nothing happens. This has happened too many times for it to be a a fluke or for the other person to not be interested. I would try a paid version for a month but it's 60 bucks for a week and that's absolutely ridiculous no matter how much money you make.

There is nothing curated about this community. Users are just the same as that which you will find on other dating apps that do not pitch themselves as being a curated community (e.g., Hinge, Bumble, Tinder).

Furthermore, any request for a refund on the basis of being misled about what is on offer will be greeted with an automated email signed by absolutely noone.

Aside from the high price tag, the amount of quality candidates is very weak and slim in quantity, and the app is over deceiving and manipulative. They always try to lure you back into your subscription by saying you have new “likes” but you have to re-subscribe to view them and then when you do, they are gone. Customer service was no help and did nothing about it.

This site is a waste of money and time. Each day I receive less than 15 profiles. The profiles rarely change and are the same each day. It sends me choice over two hours away and I ask for people within 15 miles. The profiles are taken from Match and they are over four years old. I feel duped and I am disappointed. I thought this was a high quality dating site, and it isn't. Several scammers.

This is a site not to recommend. Packages are expensive, and you would get offered profiles in other countries. Upon complaining to concierge, they state the only way to get support is to buy yet another package. Do not waste your time and money !

By far the most overpriced app. Even a $50/week payment doesn’t give you the allowance to see who likes you. On top of that- at 5pm you get around 5 people to view. That’s it. Until the next day. Wouldn’t waste your time and especially your money. I threw away $130 just so I could see my likes for a month- A MONTH- for the sole purpose of seeing if there was a match. There are way cheaper sites that allow you to scroll through multiple options. If I could get my money back, I would. Biggest waste ever.

If zero stars was an option, I’d pick that.

I think they are a total scam. They show on the app plenty of people who don’t even have a subscription, so even if you like them, there’s no one to respond because they don’t see it.

Second, if they have very few members in your geo, they will show you recommendations that are four hours away. Totally irrelevant to show someone in Boston recommendations in Manhattan.

Requests to cancel membership and refund the remaining balance on my membership term have been denied repeatedly. Stay away!

Terrible Experience – Wouldn't Recommend

I don't understand the hype around The League – it’s honestly quite disappointing. The app is way overpriced for what it provides, and it’s full of people more focused on looking fake "exclusive".
