The Honest Bison Arvostelua 

LOVE how the meat is shipped. (we've had bad experiences with other bison companies). Prices are reasonable and the occasional sales are great.

Here is what I do with all the organs and broth that I bought mostly from Honest Bison with the recipe.

Organ Stew:
24 oz of a mix of organ meat(right now heart & kidney or spleen & liver mix)

1Whole head of Garlic

Half of a Red onion

5 oz of Shiitake Mushrooms

At least 2 jars of broth(still experimenting on the desired amount)

Directions:

1. Cut organ meat into pot.
2. Cut garlic into pot.
3. Cut onion into pot.
4. Empty pre-cut mushroom container into pot.
5. Pour broth jars into pot.
6. Turn on the stove high enough to bring the stew to boil.
7. Let Stew boil for 10 minutes.
8. Turn stove to low to let the stew simmer for about two and a half hours.

Feeds me for 3 dinners.

The customer service is excellent! The Bison Filet, Elk Tips (bite-size), & Elk Burgers are our favorites so far. The steaks are tender, juicy & taste fabulous!!! We haven't tried everything yet in our subscription box. Very happy with the quality and taste. Cooking & recipe cards were included in the box making the first-time cooking/grilling much simpler.

Pretty quick shipment, didn't get notice was shipped though. As usual, great stuff. Always with friends.

When package arrived the dry ice was long gone and meat had defrosted, so had to cook them right away. Meat was tough , had a hard time cutting it.

Got just what I ordered in the promised time.

I’ve ordered Bison 3 times and never disappointed, always delicious although some cuts have more connective tissue causing it to be a bit tough chewing.

Meat quality is superb. Delivery is timely and very well packaged. Living in a southern state during this past summer created concern over the extreme heat. Everything a roved well packaged and frozen. Received a variety of bison, elk, lamb and beef. Love them all. The elk and bison are really excellent. Would highly recommend The Honest Bison. A family fav!

The packaging was phenomenal. Everything was frozen when I got home. The meat is packaged great and tasted great. Will be reordering soon.

First .. the team. They are just the best. And the food..the food. I had the Elk Tomahawl last night. lightly salted and butter in the skillet... AMAZING. Have some ribs and filet to come. .
And I have Bison and Venison for the following week
just become a customer...its a no brainer.

Have not had a chance to try the meat yet, but arrived frozzen solid.

It is excellent meat delivered in a timely fashion.

Have been trying to find a company who specializes in game meats for some time. Placed our first order but unfortunately the shipping carrier decided to extend the ship time & deliver us an unusable product. Contacted the company, they immediately responded, replaced the order & sent it overnight. Really impressive customer service & the meat looks really great.

Quality and care of product and how it’s sourced is amazing. Customer service is always great when I need to reach out.

The bison I stewed following Sean Sherman's recipe was absolutely terrific. I wish there were a less expensive way to ship, but other than that I am delighted with these products.
