The Floor Room Arvostelua 

After a slow start and several visits to John Lewis to find a person in The Floor Room to advise we’ve received excellent help and the process of ordering couldn’t have been better. Within 24 hours we’ve been visited by Scott whose expertise has been invaluable. He has made constructive suggestions so the outcome is likely to be less wasteful, look better and be completed within a few weeks. Scott’s knowledge and experience have given us confidence that going back to John Lewis was entirely right even if getting the process started was somewhat frustrating. Thank you.

Kirsty in the Newcastle JL TFL store has been super helpful particularly around trying to fit us in for a fitting when we have yet to get a confirmed move in date.

No pressure, patience and politeness.

I am a genuine customer of the floor room - Order number - 7000000041391. I spent over £6,000 on 3 carpets & they are the worst company in the world bar none. They damaged the carpets & furniture, & will take no responsibility or even carry out a quality check & are blaming the fitter, who is their own fitter. They said if I don't like it I can take them to the sheriff court! They are located in John Lewis but are NOT John Lewis. Be warned! Don't touch them, absolutely shocking company.

As per previous correspondence YOUR fitter - not mine, damaged not only the carpets, but also my furniture, therefore he is never stepping foot in my house again. In consequence of this, what is your complaints handling procedure? Most good companies in the world, if a complaint has been made against the tradesman, will send a Quality representative to quality check the job. Since we only live 10 minutes away from your store, I didn’t think this would be a problem. What they will not do is attempt to force the Customer to accept the same tradesman back to the house as the only option you are prepared to offer. I have spent £6000 & have damaged carpets, damaged furniture, missing parts, due to your fitter, & don’t want him back. So, what is the next step? What are you prepared to do about it?

Popped into the floor room at John Lewis Southampton and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff are lovely and welcoming, specifically Jess who talked us through all our options and was very knowledgeable about the products in store. Credit where credit is due we will be back because of Jess and her service, thanks again Jess.

Scott arrived on time and measured my dining/ through room. He discussed the various options with the fitting of the new carpet. I looked through samples of carpet and colours, he answered my questions but did not rush me into making a decision. We were all sorted within the hour and am now looking forward to the fitting of my new carpet.

Warning! The Floor Room is owned by CarpetRight who are going bust. Do not give them any money You may never see it or any flooring.

I have only got to ordering samples and they arrived well packaged and very quickly. If this is anything to go by then I shall probably take the next step with them.

From visiting the shop in John Lewis Edinburgh, to the measuring visit, to the fitting and our new hall floor, the journey and experience has been great.
In store Eoin was very professional and helpful, fitted by Thomas who was fantastic, cleaned up as he worked and discussed what we wanted before starting. End result is exactly what we wanted and looks great.
Overall very impressed with the professional attitude and end result from this company. Would recommend to everyone.

I don't usually leave reviews, but the sales advisor (Rhys) who helped me to was very knowledgeable and he politely asked me to leave a review.

I came into the store to have a look at what products the floor room offered for my recent home. The consultant in store was able to guide me through a range of products that would function in the different rooms of my new home. I was very pleased with the service so far and the ranges of products that the floor room offered on a while.

The staff were amazing, after visiting other carpet shops and getting lackluster service, it was incredibly refreshing to be served by people so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
