Very friendly, very professional and all round great service

Travelled from Bristol to buy BMW X1, Shelim picked me up at the train station, much appreciated. Prior to my visit, reserved the car online, we already had an initial chat via email, so it was only the test drive and pay for the car, the haggling already completed prior to my visit. Overall very pleasant experience

Closed the deal, Shelim was polite and courteous all throughout the transaction. Drove home with a half a tank of petrol, supplied by Shelim, car preformed as expected a dream.

Terrible Service – Broke My Windscreen and Refused to Take Responsibility!
I took my car to Thame cars for a simple repair, and they managed to crack my windscreen while working on it. When I pointed it out, they denied any responsibility, claiming it was "already like that" – which is absolutely untrue. My windscreen was in perfect condition before I brought it in.
Not only did they damage my car, but their attitude was appalling. No apology, no offer to fix their mistake, just complete denial. It’s clear they have no respect for customers or their vehicles.
Now I’m stuck paying for a brand-new windscreen because of their negligence. Avoid this garage at all costs – they’re careless, unprofessional, and downright dishonest. Zero stars if I could!
Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere trustworthy!

I had my MOT done the easy way and honestly, I couldn’t fault it. I got a call about three weeks before to arrange a date, which was great as I only had a rough idea it was due around June or July. Then on the day, I had a quick call to confirm collection from my workplace super convenient.

Because my car had previously been looked after by Thame Cars, everything was already familiar to them. The collection, MOT, and return were all arranged around my working hours perfectly. No need to drop the car off, no messing about with taxis or waiting around.

It just worked simple and efficient. Highly recommend if you want to take the hassle out of your MOT.

Decided to hand wash the car a day or so after my return, to remove the insects collected on the bonnet. As I was washing the bonnet, to my horror I found a flaw in the bonnet paint work, this could only be seen out of the sun light, as the colour of the car was grey. It was like bird droppings or sap, had falling all over the bonnet and tarnished the lacer.

Took some photos and sent the to Shelim, obviously he was unhappy, it was not picked up on inspection. But as expected Shelim arranged for me to return the car and said it will be sorted.

Car returned, Shelim supplied me with his car, which was the only automatic available, which went well beyond I expected.

As it was the bank holiday weekend, Shelim said he would phone after the bank holiday Monday, with an update. True to form he called and told it has been rectified, and I could inspect it and if was not happy, he would refund my money.

Few days later, I returned, the car waiting in the show room gleaming. Inspected the bonnet perfect result and I was happy with the outcome; they much have work very hard to produce a result like that. And Shelim top up the tank, again what a guy.

All I can say, Shelim was true to his word, no problem was too big to resolve, and I would recommend Thame to my friends, even if it’s a way to travel, its worth the effect, thank you Shelim.

The staff on the initial telephone conversation & the subsequent visit to the garage were polite, courteous & helpful. They sorted out our tyre problem quickly and honestly. They told us that the puncture could be repaired when other garages were trying to sell us a brand new tyre which we felt was not needed. We will use Thame Cars again.
