Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. For over a year I have been trying to get a faulty powerpack replaced. It experienced a power surge resulting in my son’s wheelchair flying forwards (with him in it) and the only way to stop it was to disconnect the battery and take it apart. The burning smell was so strong when this happened. TGA couldn’t have been any less supporting about this. The seriousness of the matter was absolutely not recognised. They left us for months without any mobility aid before agreeing to loan a different model until the fault was rectified. Bear in mind this was a known fault to TGA but other powerpack were not recalled putting other customers lives in danger. I was eventually given a new ‘fixed’ power back however over a year later I still have a faulty power pack that has been deemed absolutely fine yet drains a battery in 1.5 miles. Customer services do not reply to emails and even new orders (I have resorted to purchasing a new battery in the hope of hopes that it rectifies the issue) don’t get dispatched. I ordered this over a week ago and it hasn’t been dispatched yet. Please avoid and take your custom elsewhere.

Deserving of a negative 100 stars
What went wrong? What doesn't go wrong EVERY TIME, the sky really is the limit. I have been a returning customer for too long it's a humiliation ritual at this point. The only thing TGA do in a fashionable time is take your money. Had my chair taken in for a service, 4 months later I called and asked for an update seeing as it's essentially MY LEGS... they apologised as they had put it in a corner and forgot about it, then it would take a following 6 months to work on it. Earlier this year I ordered a part, a month later still hadn't arrived. I called up asking where it was they said soz it's out of stock, still took my money though! It took a further 2 months to get my money back! 2 weeks ago I ordered a £100 charger, they said it'd arrive last week, I just called them, they said sorry we'll send it now it will arrive in a week. They've got a chokehold on this market because attractive mobility aids are so niche but this is by far the worst company I have ever known.

Great Customer Service
Despite having the wrong order sent out twice, the customer service i received was second to none. When I visited the store to take the wrong panels back they couldnt apologise enough for the mistake.

Put an appointment with an engineer have been waiting six weeks to be told on the Friday, because I hadn’t had a confirmation to then be told it had changed without even informing me and I will have to wait another three weeks so total nine weeks to get a Repair, not very happy with the service you have have to wait months to get any kind of repair done would never recommend TGA mobility customer Service do not care they are not bothered at all that you call and booked a Repair two weeks before the six weeks holidays and that you was unable to use the power pack and wouldn’t be able to push the Wheelchair been stuck indoors whole six weeks holidays it’s a joke. Need to get more engineers all they care about is taking your money and charging you a fortune for a Service that isn’t even provided effectively would never recommend TGA mobility.
