If I was selected, it all worked out pretty professional and uncomplicated. Though, as I am in a pretty special employment situation, it is almost impossible to correspond to the requirements, as I cannot answer entirely correct as it is not possible with their questions, therefore, one star less. Overall, can be a nice chat about interesting topics.

TestingTime is an easy-to-use market research platform. It regularly offers well-paid studies to apply for, and the application process is super easy with no complicated forms to fill in. You are also able to pick the times that work for you, and all studies are usually completed from your home desktop or mobile. Payment is fast and reliable. There also shorter surveys that pay very well for the short amount of time required to fill them in. The studies may not be frequent, but it's a platform I always keep an eye on as it is so reliable and trustworthy. I have taken part in a number of studies and I have always had a good experience.

Super expérience, je fais des enquêtes testingtime depuis déjà 3 ans et suis ravie des petites récompenses perçues suite à mes participations.

Sehr transparent, logisch, ehrlich. TestingTime ist seriös.

Misleading paid surveys – no compensation after data submission

I completed two surveys advertised as paid (between 15€ and 20€ each).
In both cases, I provided personal and profiling information.

During the surveys, I reached a page saying something like “you may not be the right tester”, but I was still allowed to continue the survey. There was no clear message stating that I was disqualified, no confirmation of data deletion, and no clear way to return safely to the homepage.

In the end, neither survey was compensated. One was completed about a month ago, the other several weeks ago. No payment, no clear explanation.

Most of my basic information was already collected at account creation, and additional information was collected during the surveys — yet there was no compensation for the time, attention, or data provided.

This practice feels illegitimate and misleading: paid surveys should clearly stop before collecting data if a participant is not eligible, or clearly compensate partial participation.

I am posting this to inform other users so they can decide whether participating is worth the risk.

Unter dem Vorwand, zu prüfen ob man für eine angebliche Studie passt werden etliche Daten erhoben. (Wahrscheinlich werden diese dann weiterverkauft) Es wird dann immer behauptet, dass man für die Studie nicht geeignet sei. Also scheint das ganze Konstrukt nur dazu zu dienen, Daten kostenfrei abzugreifen. Ich werde juristischen Rat einholen.

I have been apart of this for awhile and qualified for my first test and was so excited.
I do not think I can give details on what it was but I had to interact and comment over the span of a month and was very well rewarded. It has been an excellent experience.

It took a while until I was chosen as a test user but then I was selected: This is a very easy and convenient way to earn a few Euros, on top it's also fun to do (went to an on-site user test) and the researchers I talked to were very grateful to talk to me :)

I registeted about half a year ago and had some studies. I cannot participate every time I apply but can understand. Incentive is fair and paid out via Paypal without any fees which I appreciate.

Ich habe bereits mit einer Bank über neue App-Features gesprochen und für Zalando einen coolen T-Shirt Test gemacht. Mein Freund hat für Auto1 einen über den Kauf/Verkauf von seinem Auto gesprochen. Ich freue mich jedenfalls auf weitere Tests und natürlich etwas Geld nebenbei :P.

Super Plattform, um an spannenden Tests teilzunehmen und unterschiedliche Produkte kennenzulernen. Man verdient nebenbei noch einen kleinen Batzen dazu, was richtig cool ist. Alles ist sehr transparent und die Firma wirkt absolut vertrauenswürdig.

I’ve participated in surveys and a diary study so far, all of which were easily done remotely. The diary study was especially interesting, as it was engaging to share my thoughts within a community. The compensation was fair and paid out quickly, making it a convenient and worthwhile way to earn a little extra.

I’ve really enjoyed testing for an interesting company recently; it’s a pretty nice way to make a little extra money from home while helping someone else out. It can take some time to actually qualify for a study, but the incentive seems fair and the process pretty fun.

I wasted my time filling out some form "to qualify" for a supposed interview which was paid 50 euros (Lol! Who would even pay that! :D You just need to write an 10-15 euros announcement to any campus you like.). So my data has been collected for absolulely free and time wasted.

Edit: Thanks for the reply. However, I do not understand why you don't collect data like that before notyfying the people. Then you have it saved and no need for repeated "qualification".

Die Befragung war die mit ganz weitem Abstand dilettantischste, unprofessionellste und inkompetenteste, die ich je mitmachte. Nutzlose Fragen (zT 2x die gleiche), nutzlose Auswahlmöglichkeiten, und ich konnte immer nur anklicken "ok, verstanden", auch wenn ich nichts verstanden habe, weil die Frage bzw das Ziel völlig unverständlich war

Der Umfang der Daten die man erstens bei der Anmeldung und zweitens bei jeder Bewerbung zu einer möglichen Umfrage von sich preisgeben muss stehen in keiner Relation zu den Erlösen die man hier erzielen kann. Außerdem werden die Gründe warum man zu einer Umfrage nicht zugelassen wird nicht transparent gemacht.
