SCAMMERS GAVE ME A SMALL SUIT AND NOW THERE NOT GIVING ME REFUND AND ARE IGNORING ME

Product poor quality for what was shown. Website gives impression it's UK based, but products are shipped from China, so what I thought, with Royal Mail delivery, would be a couple of days for delivery, turned out to be nine days. Do yourself a favour, go back to taking a trip to your local town centre and shop there where can a) see the product in hand, and b) aren't wasting time waiting for poorly made products to be delivered from the other side of the world.

Purports to be a uk company, actually based in China. Misleading advertising and website. Delays in delivering. Returns go to Canada! Go to the High Street.

Tried to get a refund but having a nightmare. Emails unanswered . I wish I read the reviews before buying from this website

Ordered a youth’s ’Wedding ‘ suit for my grandson. Nothing on website suggested suit coming from China. Suit arrived 2 weeks later in a 25 x 20 x 8cm bag weighing less than 500g !
Suit very poor flimsy cheap quality and a completely different colour to that on website. Looked more like a child’s fancy dress costume. Requested free return but they continually refused, gave threats about long return time, taxes and duty to send back to China, plus offers of 50% credit note, free replacement etc. Finally after about 5 emails and telling them I had raised a dispute with my credit card they relented and refunded me today

I wish I had checked trust pilot first!! I ordered a dress, which looked lovely in the pictures and was £40. It looked of good quality and the reviews on the site were all good.

However, what came was a cheap Temu dress not worth more than £4 at a push!! The quality is dreadful and the dress is unwearable. I have ordered items from Shein before that have been of better quality and for a much cheaper price, but you no what you're getting with Shein.

Taylor and Bennett are a con. They pose as a UK brand but they are anything less.

Getting a refund is not straight forward either. They don't have a simple returns process and the dress took 2 weeks to arrive, so I can only assume its been shipped from China. I'm guessing it would take 2 weeks to return.

Avoid.

Scam company, cheap Temu style cheap product just charged £30 for the pleasure. Currently being refused a full refund which is unacceptable, don't not buy from them.

I contacted customer service after placing my order to ask a question in regards to the delivery & had a quick response with regular up dates via email.

Didn't check Trustpilot like I usually do. Mistake.
Ordered Men's moccasins. One is massively wider than the other. Hadn't checked return details either. Send back to China at own expense! Own fault. Rubbish firm.

I am writing this review about Taylor & Bennett’s response on trustpilot to my review of 9th April 2026, in which they deny any association with Jones & Smith. I have email evidence proving their denial is thoroughly disingenuous.
I made an order with Jones & Smith and received emails from them confirming my order. The next emails in the process of fulfilling my order were from Taylor & Bennett. I immediately researched online and discovered that Jones & Smith had ceased trading and Taylor & Bennett were trading from the same place. Taylor & Bennett then sent me the items that I had ordered from Jones & Smith. The items were appalling quality, reeked of chemicals and had to be put straight in the bin. The false and misleading nature of the reply Taylor & Bennett have posted to my original review 100% and the blatantly untruthful content confirms to me that my original review was correct.

bought trousers from this company and after waiting nearly 3 weeks, the product I received was extremely cheap quality and nothing like advertised. The material was so poor that the trousers are not even wearable.

I tried calling the customer service number provided on their website, but the number does not work. After emailing them, I discovered this is not actually a UK-based company — the goods are being shipped from China.

When I requested a return, they started offering me only a 30% refund or asked me to send the parcel back to China at my own expense. Why should customers pay return shipping for such poor-quality products, especially when the company charges premium prices?

They are misleading customers by using a London office address and UK phone number, making people believe they are a genuine UK company. Once you pay, it feels like your money is gone.

I would strongly advise all online buyers to avoid this company at all costs. In my opinion, this is a scam business selling very cheap products at high prices while making returns extremely difficult.

Thought was a UK based company to find out when I wanted to return a pair of shoes that it is actually based in China!!. Was offered 30% voucher towards my next purchase. I said no obviously as will never buy from them again. I am still asking for the refund to come through before sending shoes back as there is no guarantee I will get it if I return it before. Terrible company. Would not buy from them again. Returns process is very difficult due to the customer having to return to Asia at own costs. Customer service also implied that it would be very unlikely for a refund to be issued even if returns were received. Avoid at all costs due to such a poor shopping experience.

Terrible!!! Do not order from them. I ordered a suit in a medium for my son, it turned up nothing like the photo colour was different and quality cheap. The size was tiny more for a child not for a lad nearly 6ft tall. Cant get a refund as warehouse asia so costly to send back and believe wouldnt even get the refund anywsy awful company

Be very careful when buying from this company!

I bought a pair of shoes for my son. The website presents itself as a UK retailer, prices in GBP, advertises “30 day hassle-free returns,” and lists a UK registered address — so I reasonably believed I was buying from a UK-based company.

The shoes arrived from China after a very long wait and didn’t fit. Only when I tried to return them was I told I could have store credit (which I didn’t want) or I would need to pay international return shipping/customs costs to China for a full refund, which would be costly and take weeks. This was not made clear before purchase.

After several complaints customer service made a “final offer” of either a 50% refund to keep the item or a full refund if I paid the return costs. I’ve now had to raise the matter with my bank.

Buyers should be aware this appears to operate as a dropshipping business, despite branding that suggests a UK retailer.

Certainly not a hassle-free returns process!!

I ordered shoes for my son, the shoes took over 2.5 weeks to arrive. The event my son needed the shoes was gone, the shoes didn’t arrive on time.

The quality of the shoes are horrific, they are plastic, it would have been better to order them directly from
Shein. I spent a lot of money on these awful plastic shoes! That I would directly put in the bin and my son would never wear them. This company is a drop shipping company and they have not issued me a refund as of yet!

Having presumed this was a British co and admittedly having not looked into the source, it took almost a month for a pair of dungarees to arrive, when they did finally arrive I was not happy with the quality and one of the straps was completely back to front. Contacted co and impossible to return or get full refund so they just offer to send you another item or get store credit ! Certainly not the quality I paid for and customer service is not in line with UK consumer law

This is a scam. The boots which I ordered are awful, shoddy, flimsy and a sickly colour. When enquiring about Returns, I was offered a partial refund, 10% of the original price, which was admittedly cheap. An absolute rip-off. Beware.

Really badly made plastic shoes not matching description on website. Refused to cover a prepaid return despite their return policy saying faulty items are covered. Do not trust
