Tandem - Language Exchange Arvostelua 297

Früher Mal eine nette App/Seite zum Sprachen austauschen und üben mit realen Leuten. Anfangs machte es noch Spaß. Es existiert ein Übersetzer, es gibt einige Sprachen zur Auswahl und manchmal bis selten hat man auch Glück mit den Leuten. Obwohl ich Pro habe eben dafür Geld bezahle, habe ich selten Klicks (wenig Sichtbarkeit) und es wird immer schwieriger seriöse Sprachpartner kennenzulernen, da sich viele Fakes und Scammer auf der Seite herumtreiben. Manche Leute verwechseln die Sprach App mit einer Dating Seite. Wurde von Männern ein paar Male sexuell belästigt und auch von merkwürdigen Frauenprofilen gestalked. Hatte den Support auch darauf hingewiesen und es wurde NIE was dagegen gemacht. Einzige Antwort: ich solle doch einfach das Profil blocken. Leider sind es inzwischen zu viele. Was mich auch extrem stört sind gewisse weibliche Profile (auch ein paar meiner Stalkerinnen) mit unpassenden Fotos - die Absichten dieser Frauen liegen auf der Hand! Ob es sich dabei um Fakes oder reale Personen handelt sei dahingestellt. Ich habe das Gefühl, Tandem ist inzwischen auf dem Niveau einer "billigen" Dating Seite. Es nervt halt, wenn man von seriösen Sprachpartnern hingegen kaum gesehen wird. Außerdem fühle ich mich in letzter Zeit sehr unwohl aus diesen Gründen. Daher kann ich Tandem nicht mehr empfehlen. Es ist schade. Denn viele Alternativen gibt es bisher nicht. Mit Hello Talk bin ich auch mäßig zufrieden, da überteuert und ähnliche Probleme mit Scammern etc. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr enttäuscht vom Support und hoffe, jemand würde mal was gegen gewisse Profile was machen oder strenger kontrollieren 😢 Update: meine Bewertung auf Google wurde doch tatsächlich gelöscht! Ich kann nicht glauben, dass man auch noch boykottiert wird für die eigene Erfahrung und Meinung. Keine Ahnung, ob die Entwickler der App oder wieder mal der grottige Tandem Support dahinter steckt, aber es zeigt mir wieder mal, dass man als Opfer keine Chance hat, während die Täter (z.B. Scam Profile) frei Bahn haben... was für ne miese (Online)Welt!

My language skills have improved significantly, and I feel much more confident when speaking English now. Additionally, I had the opportunity to meet many friendly and interesting people, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m really glad I took this step and would highly recommend it to others!

Offering a great platform to exchange languages with international people.
What could be better:
1) although I'm a pro member, my profile hasn't been shown to many people. It used to be visited by over 90 ppl/week, now this number has gone down to 30.
2) many people have been complaining about the last policy which allows users to choose only 1 language to learn. This breaks the app, it makes harder to find other people who want to learn languages that aren't English (as this is the one most people wanna learn). So I do think the app developers should take back this policy

He's very strict about people who talk to a simple thing about dating and are left out forever. I think that's a good thing, just not an exclusion. Because two different sexes occur naturally, this is sometimes occurred. Another thing is that the application has a lot of problems. And parties not to teach a language but general topics

Ich wurde schnell von Leuten jeden Alters kontaktiert und habe auf eigene Anfragen stets nette Antworten bekommen. Ich spreche mit einigen wöchentlich per Video-Anruf, alle sind nett und zuverlässig. Ich lerne viel, sowohl meine Zielsprache (spanisch) sowie über die verschiedenen lateinamerikanischen Kulturen.

Super useful, this app is great to meet people and practice languages!

It’s a great app. I use it for enjoying conversations, making friends and learning. Sometimes I can ask what I have questions about information I get through media.

Après 5 ans en pro, je suis passé de 5 étoiles à 4 en septembre 2024 suite aux mises à jour et maintenant 3 pour toutes ces raisons :
Ce qui était gratuit avant :
Plus possible d'apprendre plusieurs langues, bloqué à une seule langue
Recherche de personnes limitées selon la langue choisie dans communauté
Limite de temps
Plus de pub
Moins d'emoji
Bugs en appel
Appel limitées à une heure
Plus possible d'appeler quand on paye pas
Plus de barre du bas avec recherche de mots
Les personnes que l'on suit n'apparaissent plus dans la conversation
Plus possible d'envoyer d'images...
C'était mon application préféré avant et j'étais content de payer pour un service de qualité, pour soutenir l'application et pour permettre de laisser l'application gratuite pour les autres. Maintenant payer est devenu presque obligatoire pour profiter de l'application donc ça ne donne plus envie surtout avec l'augmentation des prix. Depuis je test de nouvelles applications en espérant en trouver une qui sera comme le tandem d'avant. Sans parler de tout les bugs...

Tener la oprtunidad de practicar un idioma con nativos sin tener qué viajar al pais donde se habla no tiene precio, ademas de muchos otros beneficios. No solo aprendes idiomas si no qué tambien enriqueces Tu nivel cultural.
Esperaria algunas mejoras tecnicas de la app, pero nada qué te impida aprender y disfrutar mientras lo haces.

App is trash. I'm only still on it because I paid for it. They claim it's not a dating app but you can lose your account if you don't have a photo of yourself. They claim it's so people can feel like they're "talking to someone real". WTF ever. People on Reddit have little cartoon avatars and it's totally fine. The reporting system is garbage. I recieved a warning after not interacting with anyone for a month. How am I being warned when I have not responded to a single message in 4 weeks? Make It make sense. People in parties being blatantly racist, xenophobia, homophoic and all of those things and don't get banned but don't have a real photo? Oh no, you can't be this app. They're so all over the place with their stupid reporting system. There's some good benefits like connecting with people globally and the ability to make phone calls but they need to do better with their wack reporting system. And stop reporting back when they do ban someone because if give people more reason to report people that they don't like. I recommend the app but only if you have the patience of a saint (not mother Teresa cause she was a terrible person).

Gosto do aplicativo, mas acho péssimo não poder compartilhar vídeos, e ter que lidar com tantos bugs.

The video and audio are greatly improved

I like the app's features, and the fees are affordable. Customer support is also accessible, and the chat moderators are responsive.

Excellent app to communicate with people abroad for language exchange

A lot of scammers on the app, people violating tandem rules never get banned even if you report the constantly, moderators do NOTHING to keep the app as a learning app and not as a religious, politics, flirting pile of poo... i'm a member since 2015 a d the app is at it's WORST...
Tandem Pro gives you unlimited time on parties but family friendly reactions and no new features... Don't buy tandem pro

Parties are the best idea on this app.
