I would give zero stars if I could
1st time use and booked a carer and paid over £250
I can not longer going away due to personal reasons and have tried to cancel the booking for a refund.
The booking is months away so plenty of cancellation notice and the carer is absolutely fine but Tailster well.
I've emailed, I've messaged I've tried to phone, beware none of their numbers work, big reg flag.
I've had no response at all, they are totally ignoring me and keeping my money.
I have contacted the bank and they are now investigating and said about administration or bankruptcy and will let me know.
If it is, it could be they are still taking bookings and clients money but not paying on to carers by the sound of other reviews and forums.
I hope this isn't the case but it sounds entirely possible that it might be, so I'd say stop booking but if you do pay your carer the cash instead, but stop paying paying Tailster.
All I asked for is to cancel my bookings and have my refund but I can't even get a response so not sure if I'll ever see money again.
I'll post an update if I ever get responded to or when the bank get back to me instead.

Tailster started off as a good app, for getting paid to look after pets.
However as time went on communication was poor or non existing.
After a while I stopped getting paid, at first I got excuses then they stopped replying altogether.
I ended up taking them to the small claims court.
There are better apps like Rover and Cat in a flat and more.
However seek word of mouth and find a good pet sitter who can offer a service you require.

I wouldn't book my pets through these.

Absolutely terrible app. They never respond to you I paid for premium as I was new and wanted to see what people were quoting don't waste your time or money. They very very rarely have jobs and there is no calendar so jobs stay up for months even years. In my area there is a request from Janurary 2023 still showing. And that is one of only around 10 within 10 miles over half of which are for dates passed. Would give 0 stars if I could

If i could give 0 stars I would. never got paid for the jobs and nobody responds to emails.
Save your money and don't join them.
I recently joined Rover as is the best thing i did, easy to boo, send messages and payed in 5 days after the job was completed.

I worked with Tailster as a sitter for 3 years. In the last year I had occasional problems getting paid, usually eventually sorted out. Phone support non existent, literally never managed to get through to a single person. Email support patchy.
By the end of 2024 they owed me over £1000 in unpaid completed bookings. Something they initially promised to look into and then stopped responding to. I’ve been chasing them for almost 3 months now. They dissolved their company in December and sold it to….the CEO of the same company. Seriously dodgy. Leaving a whole bunch of carers out of pocket.

This is the worst pet sitting platform. They take a lot from pet sitters but provide no service, and it is impossible to get in touch with them. They do not pay the pet sitters. For pet owners: use another platform, like Cat in a Flat, for example – it’s much better.

I did a cat sitting job over Christmas. I got the money in the wallet after several days (was told it would be 2 days after the end of the job)...and then I would get the money transferred to my bank account after 20 days from withdrawing from my wallet. It's now been more than 5 weeks and still not been paid. I've chatted online (not a great service as so slow to respond) who have said I need to email. I already emailed them a few times and no reply. I've now reached out to the CEO on LinkedIn but I'm not pinning much hope there. There are other websites much better service to their carers and take less commission!

All the recent 4 and 5 star reviews are fake they do not make reference to Tailster not paying the moneys owed from pet sitting, check out my reviews from May, April and Feb 24 and these are a true account of how bad Tailster are, once I finally got my payment I cancelled my involvement with Tailster and join with 3 more trust worthy companies.

Do not join, after paying the required insurance fee to be able to charge for jobs there has been zero activity. I contacted them twice asking for help and nothing. Feels like a scam and I wish I had read the reviews earlier.

The speed of service. And I really liked the tone of the conversation.
At he end my issue was solved in matter of minutes.

The customer service, a Mr aman was polite and very helpful

They get all of these five star reviews by people who are just first signing up, By saying they can get extra perks for the site for giving them a good review.
But,If you have any problems after signing up,regarding money or anything,they will ignore you. Stay away from this site. Its a scam.

Signing up for a Tailster account was super easy! Aman was especially helpful in helping me to set up my account, they were able to manually approve profile so the process was even quicker! They were lovely and were really helpful with giving assistance with anything I needed to set myself up as a carer.

Alan who has helped me to set up my account quicker is brilliant I messaged tailster on WhatsApp and within 10 mins Alan has messaged me and looked into my detailed and helped verify. Absolute outstanding service thank you very very much
They are a great support within and without the app, they are brilliant they’ve helped me within setting my account up they are very secure in checking out that you say you are who you are and they have multiple checks in place
