I take a PPI for acid reflux and for the last year my immune system has been under strain. 9 colds/flus in 10 months- every month or so - leading to post viral fatigue and no clinician could get to the bottom of it. I thought it might be down to the PPI impacting my microbiome and started taking Symprove three months ago. Since then I have had one mild cold that lasted a day. I’ve been sleeping better, training better and feeling great. I got my microbiome tested and it’s now really healthy - a year ago it was very poor (low diversity and low numbers of good bacteria).

I can’t overstate the positive impact Symprov has had on me. And I’ve been taking probiotic tablets for years but they didn’t seem to make a difference.

It seems to work. I still have occasional gut issues but they are less frequent.

Good product but expensive

I had chronic constipation for the whole of 2025 following a hip replacement operation. I also have diverticulitis which was giving me pain every day. I eat a high fibre diet including Kefir but nothing was working. I started Symprove just before Christmas 2025 and after a month my diverticulitis pain disappeared, then after 3 months I am no longer constipated.

To say its changed my life would be an understatement. I can get on the bus now without worrying about my stomach. I can eat more variety of food that I couldnt before and im in much less pain daily. Will be on this forever

My diverticulitis has much improved since I started taking Symprove . It’s very easy to remember to take first thing.

I’ve been using it for 3 years, if not longer. I have coeliac disease and Symprove has really helped my gut. I started off by getting 50% off from a celebrity promoting it but I wouldn’t change my probiotic from Symprove. It’s fantastic

As a GP, I found Bob’s presentation on Symprove probiotic supplement to be concise, clinically relevant, and well worth the time. He clearly explained where this probiotic may fit into practice, particularly for patients with IBS and post-antibiotic gut issues. The session was practical and easy to translate into real-world consultations, which is always appreciated in a busy primary care setting. I would encourage other colleagues to attend, as it offers useful insights in just 20 minutes.

Great experience, got a good deal for the first few months. I'm not sure if I've seen huge differences yet, but I'm going to keep using it for 6-months to see for sure. Great service though, and I love the attention to detail!

Symprove is an excellent product. The taste is not unpleasant but takes a bit of getting used to if you have a sweet tooth , which I do. It worked exceptionally for my very lazy gut and solved my constipation issues. I highly recommend if you have the same problem.

I have an end-colostomy and an ileal conduit that forms a urostomy, after having undergone extensive cancer treatment.

I was recommended by a dietician to try using Symprove to help with my general post-cancer fatigue and to help improve my nutrient absorption.

Only since my cancer treatment and the formation of my two stomas did I start having issues with bloating and abdominal discomfort related to eating. I also started having serious issues eating certain foods (notably fibrous foods). When the dietician suggested trying Symprove I was very skeptical but I was able to get a 3month referral for half price so I gave it a go. I'm so pleased I did. Whilst I can still have some issues with bloating and fibrous foods, the frequency and intensity of the issues have reduced significantly. I'm as surprised as anyone and I am slowly reintroducing foods back into my diet that I previously couldn't attempt post-cancer.

It’s a great product for me , was diagnosed with breast cancer and my daughter in law got me Symprove I’ve just finished my radiation treatment I had my left breast removed and feel that this has been a great little morning first thing to get on with the day ahead feeling less bloated good bowel movements dare I say all through winter and the treatment I’ve not had a sniffle or any coughing it’s marvellous
