**BEWARE of unethical business practice from Joakim**
Also, I wouldn't put it past Joakim or whatever her real name is to change the name again after this review. Airbnb confirmed she's a female. We can't even see her pic. This is completely deceptive and alarming especially when it comes to Airbnb allegedly verifying her identity. Background: We received a parking ticket parking at the designated parking space. We immediately notified Joakim and she advised that Sleepwell or SW has a contract with Parkkipate. Hence, she assured us that he will have the ticket cancelled. We advised her that we need it resolved asap because we are transferring the title of the car on Monday and we will ultimately leave the country. Joakim advised she will get it canceled and will contact them on Monday because it was the weekend. We informed Joakim that we have experienced Parkkipate parking disputes and they are known to push back and not cancel the ticket even when they’re wrong. We told her how does it resolve our issue? How is it our problem? Basically, we asked her to credit us the 60 euros thru airbnb and we pay the ticket. Jkm insisted she will call Monday to have it cancelled and NOT to pay the parking fine. We were hesitant of her promise to deliver. We told her that we need her to make this top priority. Hence, she needs to call 1st thing Monday morning and have it resolved by 11am checkout time. Otherwise, we have no choice, but to pay the ticket and have the title clear for us to transfer ownership. She fully understood and promised that she will have the ticket cancelled as her highest priority. Jkm sms us at 10:29am to ask for our license plate details. That is highly upsetting because the plate no. is on the ticket which we sent her the picture. Obviously, she didn’t bother calling until the very last half hour. I don't know or confirm if she did indeed call. To add insult to injury, she gave a weak excuse when we received her sms that she has been calling since the morning every 10 minutes and can’t get through. If that was the case then why didn’t she bother updating us of the situation? She then says that as we can see that she did call every 10 minutes. How lame of an excuse? We can’t see her phone records and it’s not our problem. We expressed clearly our concerns and stress level regarding this matter due to our int'l move. Moreover, she never bothered following up after 11am to explain the situation. We had to chase her! This is highly unacceptable and her credibility is worth nothing because her words and actions speaks clearly her character. We went ahead to pay the ticket as we warned her that we would do if she couldn't deliver on her word and we've requested SW and/or Airbnb to refund us the € 60. How come she never offered to pay for the ticket or give us credit in the Airbnb? And continues to not offer any resolution? We frankly find her actions unacceptable and appalling. She NEVER EVER bothered to give us a refund or offer one. We are going through the process now via Airbnb and guess what? She's the resolution person representing Airbnb. What a SCAM from both SW & Airbnb. However, Airbnb promise us they will recover our €60 parking fine. I wouldn't put it past Joakim to have a new name and profile to hide behind. In addition, the cleaning sms is misleading and for any foreigner they may naturally think they should pay for cleaning. It's Airbnb standard rule, you leave the place as you left it and take out the garbage like any other Airbnb. We were bombarded with cleaning messages from day one of check-in. It's unethical and unfair business practice from Jkm. We suspect Joakim's real name is Mia.

****Update*****Sept. 20, 2023
It turns out that Joakim clearly is not transparent. She does not honor us by giving us dignity and respect. We went into Parkkipate's website to find out that (Mia) representing Joakim submitted a dispute claim on Sept. 18, 2023 at 1:22pm. Parkkipate does not take calls for disputes on parking citation. My wife and I are very reasonable and would be much more understanding and patience IF Mia (possibly her real name) simply was truthful from the start. For goodness sakes, it's ONLY 60 euros at the end of the day. We would simply return the money to her if she refunded us first if she was concerned about double indemnity. We have also hosted Airbnb and we have no reason to cheat her or given her any reason to doubt us. We have every reason not to trust her because she just lied to us and Airbnb over and over from the beginning and continues to stick to her story that she can't get through. Perhaps, she knows as well as we do as locals that there's a high probability that Parkkipate won't honor the cancellation even though they're wrong.
