I ordered records worth $150. The package was rejected at the border and rerouted back to Sumerian. Sumerian never reached out to me with an update and I didn't know why my package was taking so long. I had to do a lot of leg work to get ahold of USPS who were the ones to inform me that Sumerian had my package. I sent 3 separate emails to Sumerian asking about next steps (refund, re-ship etc) and have yet to receive a single reply. It has been over 2 months since I placed the order. I haven't been able to contact customer service and am out $150 for merch that I never received.

Delivered faulty item and customer service nonexistent, had to lodge fraud claim with my bank in order to recover item cost.. this did not recoup cost of return postage which is against law. Ghosted me and then after fraud complaint they demanded video of item fault (even though photos were previously provided) and item was already returned. Absolute nightmare and avoid at all costs.

They sent my order to wrong Country. No resolution for 2 months. They take ca 10-20 days to answer e-mails. Experience has not been great, do not recommend.

Made a order 1 month ago.
No shipment
No response on mail
No response on social media
Dead silence

But they there fast enough to take my money. So made a payment, but no delivery or life signal, that the company exist ?

Is there anybody ?

I've only ordered from them once but the item came damaged and they use Amazon to deliver their stuff.

The driver didn't knock, just left the parcel outside and left.

I've raised a return ticket with them and we wait for the outcome...

Got my replacement and all was well with it. They paid for delivery too. +1 star.

I ordered the D.O.G. preorder merch bundle in August 24. This includes the Vinyl and a long sleeve.

Now, nearly 02/25, I have not received the vinyl. And this information I only received after writing like 25 emails to them. Communication is rarely not copy pasted and just horrible.
+ The goods did not arrive.

Never again.

I am just hoping the refund I now requested will go through....

Do not buy from this company. I bought a limited edition vinyl from them and I received a delivery date (which I know is just an estimation). It arrived way before the date, while I was out of town and I received no notification at all from either Sumerian or USPS. The vinyl sat outside for three days. I contacted Sumerian and got the standard "Contact USPS" copied and pasted response. I won't purchase from them again.

I was skeptical about ordering after seeing all the negative reviews. But I had a great experience.
Ordered the new album from Kittie, item was dispatched the day before the album release and arrived the next day.

DO NOT BUY AT SUMERIAN. They sold me a record in pre-order, but I never received it. After asking them about it, they only told me "sorry, it's sold out". Now they seem to refuse to refund the money I paid them, coming up with all kind of lame excuses.

I purchased a large order via Sumerian records online. Order consisted of over 12 CDs and some posters. The entire order was approximately $150. I paid for expedited shipping of UPS. I never received any items. I never received any emails from Sumerian. I never received any tracking, correspondence or items! I contacted customer service and they never responded. TERRIBLE WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS!

I have waited to received my items for close to 8months and only received few some of the items I ordered and only got them after sending multiple emails to them. I have also waited for a refund for few months now. Customer service is garbage and only making this harder than it needs to be.

I ordered an After the Burial vinyl as a present for my son in December 2022. Payment was taken and I received a confirmation email. Christmas and my sonb's birthday passed and no vinyl arrived. I found it very difficult to find a point of contact with the company. My initial requests for clarification were met with indifference and I as told they did not deal with customer service. I eventually ended up contacting the US store and I was told they were in a transferring to new warehousing. After about four months of waiting I received an email saying the warehouse move was complete and I would receive my order in no more than 10 days. Time passed and still no vinyl. I contacted the company again and after 6 months of waiting received a £25 voucher. I ordered a different album for my son because I felt I had nothing to lose at this point and if it never arrived it hadn't cost anything. The second album came promptly but 12 months after ordering After the Burial I still had no album. I contacted Sumerian to request the cancellation of y order and a refund. I was contacted promptly with an apology, my order was cancelled and I was told I would receive my refund in 3-5 working days. This period passed and no refund. I had to contact the company again to inform them of this. I received an apologetic email stating there ahd been 'technical issues' they should have informed me of. After chasing the refund I finally received my money back. I will never order from this company again.

Perfect experience, they delivered quickly and efficiently

I had nothing but a positive experience with these guys. I Ordered a vinyl record.

I entered the wrong email address when submitting the forms. Everything else was correct. So I never received confirmation or shipping details. It seemed suspicious, especially after reading all the reviews. Naturally, I was outraged, and was just outright hostile in the emails I fired off to the label. The initial speed of reply was a 2 day turn around, which is actually stated on the site. Daniel S patiently pointed out that I had given them the wrong email, and that everything had indeed shipped already. It’s come from the US to Australia in roughly a week, which is much faster than i’m used to. Really impressed all round. Very fast shipping, and good customer service, at least in my experience. Daniel S deserves a shout out

Ordered a CD from them last November. Never got it. Countless emails and messages, same response every time (when I got a response) "We'll look into it and get back to you".
Finally, this week I got a refund. Hopeless outfit. They have some excellent bands on their books and they do these bands a huge disservice with this level of incompetence.

Ordered a tee back in February, now middle of August and still no sign of it. AFAIK their "supplier issues" have been resolved since then.

There was even an email that went out about getting free store credit to make up for the issues, but that never happened.

Asked for a refund, doubtful anyone will respond to me, so hopefully 6 months of emails is more than enough to get a refund via the bank.

I ordered a slaughter to prevail t shirt from this company which i ended up receiving 3 days later! very fast delivery and will definitely purchase from again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Placed an order at the start of February, months of waiting, chasing, hearing nothing, I finally receive a refund notification last week, 5 months later!
A separate order also took 2 months to arrive.
Their given support email doesn't reply at all, I had to track down someone high up through LinkedIn to get any response to anything.

I won't be ordering anything through Sumerian again.

Waited 6 Months for delivery of Bones UK LP. Chased it several times during that period. Finally it arrived... with small noisy scratches on the record, even though fully sealed and brand new. Requested refund/exchange by reply email but no reply received from them. Don't expect anything without a fight, just avoid!
