Excellent service by Stressless for a warranty repair
I have 3 Stressless reclining chairs, all purchased from Berkowitz. All 3 are very comfortable and supportive for my back. Recently my Mayfair office chair became very loose on the base. I was guided by Bernie from Stressless with videos to deconstruct the base to identify the issue. It was determined that a new base was the solution. Chris from The Leather Doctor came the following week to replace the base under warranty. The service was impeccable and I now have a perfect office chair again. Thank you Bernie and Chris for your great service.

First of all I have to say that the…
First of all I have to say that the salesman knew very little about the product. I had not particularly looked for a recliner because I find them generally too bulky but was instantly "smitten" when I saw the Stressless Model Erik in olive green. Despite gaining useful information from the salesman I did purchase and once I found the online manual and instructions on how to move the parts I knew I was on to a winner. I have absolutely no regrets buying this chair (and ottoman) on sight. That is it so much more then a beautifully crafted product is an absolut bonus and delight.

Modern Recliner
The stressless chairs are the only modern looking recliner I have seen which is not hugely dominating and bulky. We had plenty of time to try out the chairs and were then advised re optimal fit for our height etc. The sale shortly after clinched the deal.

Beautiful but inspect carefully
The dining chairs are beautiful and the fabric is exactly as we expected.
We are really pleased with our purchase.
However, when we arrived to inspect them prioe to final payment, several of the chair legs were stained. As we selected the white oak legs these stains were very prominent. We, the retailer and ourselves, were able to scrub the stain off but it took a long time as we were not able to risk abrasive or chemical cleaners.

Chairs delivered within timeframe specified. Delivery team helpful and friendly. New Electric Consul and Office Consul were upgrades to an ~16yr old Consul Recliner (which has been used daily).

Very disappointed customer
We have previously owned stressless furniture and loved it. This time around we had a completely different experience. The quality has changed, they’re not as comfortable, ( we’re having a back problem) material on our sofa is peeling ( witch is parentally normal and we were advised to use a razor to remove) We had a upholsterer in the family and I have seen lots of excellent materials from Warwick that didn’t need a razor to be used. We have recommended Stressless to couple of friends and family members but unfortunately there opinions are similar to ours. We regret that we didn’t spend the money on something else. I would never buy or recommend Stressless ever again.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Stressless Fiona sofa.
You selected an 80% wool, 20% viscose fabric named Calido as your upholstery and we had a technician inspect it regarding reports of pilling.
The technician found that the fabric was not actually pilling but that there were additional fibres in the upholstery. We reached out to our production team in Norway who confirmed that this was normal for wool fabrics and that the additional fibres could be removed is with a lint/nubs remover or by very carefully running a razor blade along the fabric.
As a gesture of goodwill we are willing to provide you with a complimentary depilling machine, please email us at office.au@stressless.com if you would like to take us up on this offer.
Regarding the comfort of your Fiona sofa, this is a new model and is manufactured slightly differently than our usual Plus-System recliners and sofas.
As such, the feel of the Fiona sofa will vary from that of your existing Stressless models.
