Could have made opening the account totally idiot proof by pointing out that you have a proper bank account with them - unlike an account held with a B/Soc when transferring the opening funds. But friendly staff on the end of the phone to help out

Be very carefull
Be very carefull, i opened one year bond on 6/10/23 at 6.10% wouldnt give me account detail so could pay money in, details turn up today so i can pay money in but they have secretly cut the rate to 5.90 % but made no attempt to honor the rate i signed up for, wont be getting my money thats for sure
