I've received a defective device, the audio jack wasn't working out of the box. USB and Bluetooth were working so I applied for a partial refund. Was offered 7 Euros as a compensation and if I'd agreed that I don't get warranty anymore.

Of course I didn't agree, the only option I had left, was to return the item. After sending back the item, they told me they never received it, whilst the track and trace tells differently.

They tell me if I don't have a video of me actually packaging the item, they won't help me. I was never informed to take a video of the packaging process... It doesn't make sense to me either. If I still had the player I could make a video now or if I had bad intentions I could've removed the player from the package after making the the video.... I don't have the player anymore and didn't make a video of packaging it.

I lost my money, I lost my product. This company is trying to scam you. Be warned!

I ordered a unit in black. I got orange. No charging cable came with it, just a C to C cable. So I had to supply my own. The user manual tells me virtually nothing. After a day and a half of trying to sync the unit to my MAC, using YouTube, Google, asking friends etc, I gave up. Its in the bin. Useless piece of cr@p. Do not waste your money on this rubbish.

Hiby are the worst company ever donot buy there products .
They use cheap parts that fail eventually.
I bought a R8 worth for over 4 k when it came out
I have hardly used it and the sd card reader has died on it for no reason .
Manufacturer failure they will not help or stand by there products and fix it .
This has happened to others and expect me to pay 100 bucks for shipping .
There customer support is disgusting very slow to respond and give you the runaround.
This is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with .
Do yourself a favour buy something else as they take your money and sell items that break and are junk.
Typical made in China quality
Zero stars for quality service and product .
You need to be taken down with your dodgy practices .
Do not buy or support there products as they won’t support you if anything ever fails trust me .

Item never came , never recieved shipping email even though they insist they sent it . Item was stolen upon safe drop as i was overseas and the person collecting mail never receipted the item . They refuse to do anything about it and have just sent me in circles as the shipping company won't " compensate " them so they wont fix the issue

I bought the Hiby R1 after seeing good reviews online. It crashes every several minutes and have been talking to customer service for over a week now as they string me along without taking responsability. As I look deeper on the internet I can see many people have had similar issues with Hiby selling products that dont work and having customer service designed to avoid responsability

Be wary of HiBy! I bought an R1 during the widespread hype and it died under careful use and well within warranty. Support was somewhat responsive, but gave me the runaround and ultimately said they would only *maybe* help if I sent it back to China for more than half the products value. (See Reddit for the many times they deny warranty after receiving) I've tried everything to get the more reasonable warranty they state, but they explicity "refuse to do anything."
Product was decent while it worked, but support this bad is irredeemable.

Sorry but I don't support unethical companies. Since looking online at a product. I went to the order page to see how much shipping would be only to find the terms to be unacceptable after putting in my info.

Since then Hiby has been harassing me with junk e-mail. At no point has any permission been given for this.

Really bad customer service and technical support.
Crappy product that does not work as advertised.
Very pricey for a subpar product. Will not buy again and will not recommend. No technical support and they will not give you a refund. You have to pay for the shipping that will cost at least a quarter of the product price.

Kauf einmal und du kaufst bestimmt noch einmal. Zunächst geiler klang sehr gute Qualität dachtest du nach 3 Monaten einfach kopfhörer Verbindungen lose. HiBy kontaktiert da soll ich das auf eigene Faust nach China schicken. Klar! Also selbst versucht bin kein elektriker, aber die verbindungen kabel alles ist so billig gemacht. Es hat sich einfach gelöst das teil hätte man nur professionell oder vernünftig löten müssen. Nie wieder wirklich kein Support vorhanden. Finger weg.

Bought an usb-C to coaxial cable. Didn't work. helpdesk answered that it didn't work with an macbook pro M1 and that they couldn't make cables that worked with s o many different devices. Didn't mention that on the site.
Couldn't be returned. No return policy or cooling down period for sale.

ZERO STARS. I bought the HiBy R3 II. It is literally the buggiest electronic device I have ever purchased. The HiBy team is…awful. They have one person answering email and though I had all the bugs to list, she said it was too technical and she would not pass me to anyone in tech support because they probably don’t have one. Main complaints; it reboots when it wants, freezes when it wants, if you walk on carpet then touch it, music stops and you have to reboot, I’ve even had it do this in my pocket many, many times. It has something to do with static. Many, many more issues but apparently we live in a world whereafter you have my money you don’t actually have to sell a complete, functional product. I would not buy anything from them. They’re crooks.

Unos impresentables, compro una funda para un Hiby R6 III y recibo otra funda que no se parece a la que compré. Reclamo a PayPal y la solución que me ofrecen es que devuelva la funda por mi cuenta, envío que de españa a china es de unos 25€. Una vergüenza de empresa que estafa al cliente. He puesto en venta mi reproductor.
NUNCA MAS HIBY

Pésimo servicio al cliente, no avisa de posibles cargos adicionales de aduanas, no envían factura a no ser que se solicite por escrito vía email. Hace más de un mes que compre y aun no recibo el reproductor y antes tienen el descaro de decir que solucione el problema con aduana que ellos no se hacen responsables ni hacen reembolsos, no recomiendo a nadie comprar en este sitio.

I bought a Hiby R6 several years ago.
It didn't work properly when I recieved it.
After several weeks of discussions with the company in China they agreed to replace the R6 if I sent the old one back to them. I couldn't do this at the time due to restrictions on postal items from my, then, location.
After several more weeks they finally agreed to send me a new R6.
The R6 worked for less that 12 months before it started to 'slow down'.
Hiby informed me that the original warranty had expired.
I have recently looked at the R6 and it appears to have 'expanded' - the front and back panels no longer attach to the steel frame of the device.
I am writing this article as I have noticed that Hiby have updated the R6 and I would like to let people know my experience.
I am not looking for anything from Hiby - I have long given up on the device and the company.
My advice to anyone who is thinking of buying a Hiby is - don't.
It may be better to buy a decent phone and listen to music through that, or if you are looking to buy a DAP, maybe try Astell&Kern - I have found their players to be excellent.
